Something that the discrediters of Bowling For Columbine fail to see as well is that Moore never drew any direct conclusions for the viewer, he left that up to the viewer entirely. How many gun-lovers start spewing crap about how it's not the fault of guns and that gun control isn't the solution as soon as this movie is brought up? Yeah, and the part where Moore says just that is conveniently ignored. THAT WASN'T THE CONCLUSION TO BE DRAWN FROM THIS MOVIE!

He called Canadians a bunch of gun lovers, at least as bad as our american counterparts. But, he then went on to state that per capita, there are WAY more gun deaths in the US every year than in ANY other country in the world. He then goes on to present other possibilities...like say the media perchance?
Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that the people that get the most up in arms about things like this are usually the ones it hits closest to home with.
A parent doesn't have to understand computers to teach their children what are acceptable and allowed uses of that computer.
If parents can keep an eye on what television their children watch, as they should, why can't they keep an eye on what is on their computer screen? There is absolutely no difference at all. I am positive that you are correct. There is a PS1-on-a-chip in the PS2. I believe this article has missed the boat on this fact.
I'm sure somebody will take the time to provide a link to the relevant facts, if they haven't already.
Well, I still have a couple of tape decks and a record player in operation.
Actually, every computer I currently use still has a floppy drive in it, and most of them have never even been used.
Safe to say that even if a new form of media takes over from the CD/DVD formats, there will still be drives in use for a very long time to come.
