Yeah, they do. see "Your account", "Account profiles". And then there's a dropdown on the top of the page. I don't see how they could make it much easier.
Pretty sure that was referring to not contaminating the cake with lead (and other hazardous materials). Just because your cake has an eeePC inside it doesn't mean you don't want to eat it!
hmm, maybe it's because you're using drivers you wrote yourself. Hint: You're the first party, Canonical is the second party, anyone else is a third party.
I suppose it's possible that you're ATI and nVidia though -- in which case, just write better drivers!
Joking aside, I agree with you that the sound device situation is a hideous mess.
Only by converting it from DC power. Which is less efficient than using the DC power directly.
And is DC even any less efficient? I know it's more efficient to transmit AC power over long distances (i.e. power lines), but does that apply to short distances like these?
What they should do is use the yellow "recommended speed" signs there, because those actually show the safe speed for a curve in a tractor-trailer rig, and if you're in a car you can safely figure 10-15 mph faster than that is safe.
No, that's "Googol". Or "Million".
Yeah, but it's not like peanut butter permanently damages discs.
Guess what? There's this amazing product called "soap" which can wash off a lot of things -- even peanut butter!
I don't think it matters in this case. They'll claim that nonexistentdomain.local exists just as much as nonexistentdomain.com.
The webcam problem occurs on Windows too. Very annoying.

That'd be all your fault. You should be creating separate account profiles for yourself and your wife.
Pretty much. Although to be fair, custom applications have kind of "second class citizen" status compared to the built-in applications.
yes on both counts.

Not the same plane at all. Not all flying wings are equal. For one thing, the one in Indy was a prop plane.
What's with the apostrophe before "flu"? If it's to indicate the omited "in", shouldn't there be another one after, to indicate the omitted "enza"?
Orange and white, Orange. Green and White, Blue. Blue and White, Green. Brown and White, Brown.
...at least for T568B. For T568A, swap the orange/orange and white with the green/green and white.
even when using 1st party drivers from ATI/nVidia

Now if only they can get it to do something other than crash, that'd be a step forward.
Ah, so "I was just doing my job" is an excuse, as long as it's excusing something sufficiently insignificant. Got it.
Agreed. It's especially nice when I'm waking up in the morning.

I think that's a proverb, not a fable.
No speakers + microphone?
Is it a serious as a rhino?
How do they communicate with the cell network without an antenna?
OK then, what's wrong with four 4GB cards?

Maybe he meant that he literally swore blind that it was him, and he just needed someone to verify it by looking at the picture.
