These have been for sale from China for at least a year:

Seems to me this is old news - it looks like a finished product.
I'm a gay rights supporter, but, sorry, but this is just fascism. The "gay mafia" just forced a company to ditch its CEO for advocating a position that more than half the country supports, and Obama supported until August 2012, when he needed cash. This is what creates backlash effects and sets the movement behind; perhaps for decades. The left has to be reminded that tolerance works both ways. They're behaving worse than evangelicals. Even the duck dynasty guy wouldn't have demanded your head.
And really...doesn't the inventer of JavaScript get any slack!
Scientists have already sequenced mitochondrial DNA, and have show that the entire human race alive today descended from 2,400 mothers that emerged from the last ice age ~12,500 years ago.
Leftists always gloss over the details. Yes, the house controls the spending. They "control the purse" as the saying goes. But just like the Left conveniently forgets that it was the GOP house that balanced the budget, and they forget it was the Democrat congress that spent all the increased revenue from Reagan's tax cuts, they also forget that we are currently locked into 2009 spending because the democrats in the senate refuse to pass any budget submitted by the GOP house. Using this situation to blame the GOP is just being ignorant of the facts.
Not sure I buy that. PERL5 has been frozen for some time. A lot of people use it, for sure... CPAN downloads are up like 800% over the last 5 years or something like that... but the language itself isn't being developed anymore. PERL6 has been under development for almost 8 years, and Larry's about 90% done with it from what I've seen. It hasn't been deployed really anywhere yet, but there are a lot of folk working with it through Rokudo(?). So, its kind of unfair to say it won't catch on, when it hasn't even made it out of the lab yet. But the language specs have been finalized, and you can learn it. And you can install it yourself and play with it. Time will tell if it gets picked up by people... but the syntax is really nice and flexible.
Sorry, but the only thing FORTRAN is good for, is reading the programs included with the climateGate files, that show how the researchers "massaged" their temperature data. I think they're the only folk still using it.
ActionScript, though? That language is a mess. It's got at least three different versions, all with radically different syntaxes, that seem to coexist somehow. (Kind of. ) The language is buggy - its one of the only languages I know, where I don't trust the actual compiler. I have had to work around bugs that simply shouldn't exist. I have had movies just sit there and not move no matter what I tell them to do, and other times where the movies just won't play, no matter how many times I tell it. It uses up a lot of overhead, and smartphones are fleeing from it. It was great in the beginning for a lot of graphic/multimedia type stuff... but HTML5 is rapidly picking up the slack. In another 10 years, it'll be a dead language like FORTRAN.
At the risk of sounding old school: PERL.
I've learned PHP, Python, JAVA, ActionScript (yeah, I know), some Ruby, and a little C++... but, over the last decade, I find myself continually circling back to PERL. Why? Because it's stable, ported to almost every OS known to man, you'll find it installed on pretty much every webserver and linux installation by default. It just works, and its virtually omnipresent. You don't have to use it any particular way, either... object oriented, non-OO, whatever you feel like. I use it for home network stuff, sysadmin stuff, CGI, web apps, even applications. It's an excellent glue language that brings everyone together. It's simple to learn and deploy.
The only thing I would suggest, is to start learning PERL6... not only is the language re-written from top to bottom, the internals are completely nextgen. It'll be using the Parrot compiler, which will allow you to mix languages inside PERL... so, not only can you write PERL however you'd like, you can throw in bits of PHP, Python, and Ruby if that floats your boat, too.
That's my 2cents, and I'm sure some people will think it backwards somehow, but hey... in 15 years of coding and design, I have yet to find something it can't handle, or a platform it won't run on.
The absolute idiocy of the Left on this issue is amazing. How can you possibly equate requiring ID to PREVENT fraud, with actual fraud? And using the NYT as "proof" of anything requires quite a leap. First... how would you KNOW there was voter fraud, unless you checked IDs in the first place? Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Plus, if you'd read the wikileaks Stratfor files, you'd know the rampant ballot stuffing in 2008 was from the Obama campaign, not the Republicans. Second; while you're so caught up in there being "no proof" of voter fraud, realize that the opposite is also true - there is no evidence that requiring voter ID suppresses turnout, either. Two states in 2008 had voter ID laws in place (SC & GA?), and all of them experienced record minority turnouts for Obama at the polls. VoterID DOES NOT equal voter suppression. But it does mean the DNC has a more difficult time stuffing ballots. That's what this is really about. Obama can't win without cheating.
...and like most libs, you live in your own fantasy world. There is a website that contains all the ballots from 2000 and you can sort them by whatever standards you desire. You will find that Gore won the state by only a dozen or so votes... but NONE of them were in the counties he wanted to recount. Now that hindsight is 20/20, the only way Gore could've won Florida in 2000 would have been to ask for a state-wide hand recount with open standards at the outset. Since he was never going to do that, and in fact tried to stop the certification of the election - the only way he would've gotten that recount - Gore was doomed.
You could certainly say Bush didn't "win" Florida, but you can't say he "stole it". What you can say, with some accuracy, is that Gore lost Florida. He has no one to blame but himself.
But you on the Left have turned Florida 2000 into a bizarre political myth... which is odd, considering the evidence I cited is readily available to anyone.
So now robocalls are the equivalent of "voter suppression"? Just like requiring ID to stop fraud is also now "voter suppression"? And what, exactly are the conservatives' big crime - apparently their policies have saved the canadian economy... they are doing much better than their neighbors right now.
For all the libs here screaming about Ohio... didn't any of you READ the wikileaks Stratfor files? The rampant ballot stuffing in 2008 was from the Obama campaign, not the Republicans. It was McCain, apparently, who was too nice to even bring it up. ALL the instances of voter fraud and suppression in the last decade in the US have all been from the DNC.
Face it - all this is, is a result of the Left losing power. They cannot tolerate that, and will do ANYTHING to keep it... even create a phony election crisis. (Which will happen in the US in 2012, just wait.)
