Besides, have some perspective: the US govt spends ~22billion EVERY DAY. 10 billion over 10 years is barely a rounding error.

Really? So is POTUS now going to come down hard on Comcast, who's CEO is his golf buddy? Sure about that? What's going to happen, is it's going to destroy the 30,000 local ISPs, allow Comcast and TW to merge...and then we'll have a giant govt-controlled monopoly running the internet. For those of you scoring at home, that's called fascism. But don't worry, I'm sure it will work out well. Sure you've just sold out one of mankind's greatest inventions, so the Left can cement it's political power. No bigs. Everything will "stay the same".

An average of $3,800, times as many as 9,000,000 students, for two years, is 64.8 BILLION dollars. (And I guarantee that's a LOW estimate.) The average American makes $800,000 in income during the course of their lives. Let's call it a million, to make the numbers easy. The government taxes, on average, about 50% of the wealth that an American generates in their lives. So, for every million the govt spends, TWO citizens have to sacrifice their entire lives. 64.8 billion is the accumulated lifetime taxed earnings of 129,600 American citizens. The blood, sweat, tears, and overtime of almost 130,000 people. So, the next time you find lefties who like to pontificate about the money we're "investing"...remind them where the money actually comes from. (Hint: it's not from Obama's stash.)

Put it in orbit far enough out, that it sits between the Earth and the Sun, and all of the light that reaches the earth has to pass through that window. Then, you idiotic scientists can adjust the amount of light that actually reaches the Earth, and we can take away your remote control when we get tired of it. This way, anything that is done to "modify the climate", isn't permanent, and if you screw something up, we can shut it off. You're welcome.

Launch it into space and put it far enough away that all of the light that the earth receives is through that window. Now you can electrically "tint" that windown and restrict all the sunlight you want...and if you screw anything up, we can reverse it and btch slap all of you and take your remote control away.
