    Embedded car GPS systems are linked to the car speed data, and when entering a long tunnel, will continue to move the position correctly.
    For this limited scenario, it appears to the user as if the GPS was active all along.

    Jokes aside, I find it interesting that people think that the majority of defense budgets go into acquiring hardware like aircraft and missiles, when in fact, the majority of funds go into payroll. In some places, a large chunk of that goes into funding retirement of officers.

    3. The 'Pockyclipse is really on the way, but the NASA engineers are lying because they don't want to give up any precious engineer slots to save some useless politicians. Remember, NASA has all the keys to the escape rockets.

    Does the oil eliminate the high pressure steam? Sounds like the steam is still there.

    The high pressure steam is only inside the piston chamber. After expanding and pushing the piston, the pressure drops.

    I have been told by airline representatives that this marking is random.

    Although I know that mathematically it's possible, the fact that in my last 10 flights I always got this marking makes me believe there is profiling done based on various criteria.

    You're joking, but I'm always amazed when conservatives want to deregulate the government and leave us at the hands of big business. They believe that government is bad, and that the free market should be allowed to work without interference. Look at how that's working out for China. Massive water pollution, schools collapsing during earthquakes due to lax building codes, air that is not breathable, kids working ridiculous hours for puny wages, ubiquitous counterfeiting of foods and medications, and lots of other bizarre shit that just make you wonder if the free market without government regulation wouldn't simply be anarchy.

    You're only listing how it affects the people, and ignoring the fact that conservatives are working for corporations. I'm sure corporations in China are prospering.

    The first rule in optimization is knowing which variable you're optimizing.

    For years now, from time to time we're informed of energy breakthroughs. Similar to this item, there are bacteria used for converting cellulose to glucose and other breakthroughs. How come we never hear of these getting to production? Is it just over optimism of the original press release, or is it the energy companies conspiracy theories?
