Very good movie but a little dissapointing?

Saw it this morning at the 0h premiere:-)... In general i loved the movie since it has a lot of good things going on (battles, gollum is absolutly great,etc!)... but i was a little dissapointed at the portrayal of some characters like faramir (they show him as unwise and eager to have the ring as boromir which he wasn't at all!), showing ents as stupid stubborn old folks, and some liberties they took in the story..
anyways it is a very good movie but from a tolkien fan standpoint at the end i had very mixed feelings about the movie.. ..well i suppose that means i'll have to go see it again...
This isn't new, TV companies have been doing that kind of thing when transmiting soccer games for a very long time, and at least here in Colombia they have been throwing out that kind of ads in the middle of tv shows for at least a couple of years.
Of course it's really annoying, and combined with the worst programming anyone can think of, it's the reason that the overly expensive cable and satellite tv keep growing pretty fast on this country.
Actually the event wasnt cancelled it was just postponed to take place sometime after the upcoming presidential elections in Colombia which happen to be next sunday.
Well, i have a different experience, all the girls i know that have seen Snatch, have loved the movie specially the different plot twists and the dark humor, maybe it has something to do with the fact that the french culture is more in sync with second degree british humor, OTOH maybe not, since some of them aren't french although some are from south america (like me) where second degree jokes are also prefered...
