At least he had good reasons.
He was just a pilot in training (only used sims) and while on a trip to see the prototypes the orbital colony they were developed on is attacked. So he has to jump in the still being tested prototype to try to fight off the attackers, accidentally breaches the reactor of an enemy unit blowing a hole in the side of the colony, with the expected effect.

Thats just his start in the conflict. We haven't even made it to the countless poor souls who have to pilot Zaku against him, or comrades in the crappy GM mass produced suits. Last there is Lala Sun, so yah I think he has a bit of a right to be angsty.

I don't remember how socially inept he was.

    And a bigger car....

Honestly, cars are noisy environments and I cant see why people strive to cram a home theater audio system in them, especially since most people just blast low end so much every body pannel is vibrating (sounds like crap from the outside) and distorting the audio anyway.

You in the car need to hear music and I hope can still hear emergency vehicles before they are crusing your lifeless body. I however in the privacy of my own home, do not want to hear your car audio system as you speed through a residential zone (this is with your windows up).

I'm not saying you should be happy or content with Factory installed gear, but ask yourself if you would like a setup like your outside your window when you are trying to sleep.

I can second this, I have personal knowledge that Monster cables shielding will protect our precious signals from Martian Rays. GOD DAMN MARTIANS!!!

Also you wont believe how much digital signal jitter the Monster optical cables will remove over a 1 meter run. Until Monster Brand cables came about no digital data ever flowed pure and true.

I am currently evaluation Monster brand copper traces on all my PCB uses. IF I get the results I expect I will start re-building all my consumer electronics so I know my signals are being handled best by Monster tech interconnects.

After that I have to look into using Monster brad fabrication for all my IC's.

There is nothing a Monster cable can do that a decent cable, run properly (don't bundle power and signals) will do. Isolate noise generating components and for gods sake spend a couple bucks on ferrite bar chokes first instead of monstrously expensive cables to clean up signals.

Not word for word. This show seems to be taking place as a mix of 1st and 2nd Season and instead of exactly paroting all the dialog (couplings failure I think) they have made the office environment in the show one American office workers can identify with. Also I think the lead actor "Get's It" for the character he is playing.
As for Coupling I tihnk the problem was the original show was cast so well, the actors for the US version just couldnt hold up to them. I can think only of about 2 people on US TV who could do the role of Jeff and do it justice.

Kinda depressing that all the stuffy old codgers wont be shuffling around Gallifrey in bad outfits. One thing I actually liked is how out of touch they made the "stay at home" Time Lords. Not grasping the seriousness of death to creatures that don't simply regenerate. Coming to grips with life outside the comforts of the home city. Or just having to deal with things instead of hoping they will go away.

Speaking of bad Time Lord fashion sense, I noticed upon watching Blakes 7 that the one weapons designer who ran away because he was pissed no one gave him credit for his work was dressed suspiciously like a Time Lord. Another Renegade maybe?
