alright vuescan by Hammerick software does work with scaners in OS 10.1 it's US$40 and since UMAX is a horrible company i will never do busuiness with again because they haven't released OSX drivers yet. Beware that Magicscan and VueScan breaks all scsi on MAC G4 tower 733's and 500's. It probably kills it on OS X but no experience on anything else other then the two systems above.
Buy an Epson Scanner if you need to get a new one because they are better and cheaper.
UMAX constantly does not update drivers theur American sight also is horribly slow. y work around. is www.umax.co.uk or umax.de both are much faster then the American sight, maybe someone is running a divx server on it. UMAX is to incompitent to notice i think.
VueScan comes up on google so good luck. VueScan is excelent scanning software.
Scheme is a solid language taht is very fast. It has excelent math precesion and isn't very difficult to learn. Looping structures are available as the language is ideal for recursive solutions. Check here for more info. If i remeberfree versions are avaialble for you to try them. The precesion is excelent. Although many peopl will go Scheme what, sometimes the best solutions are more obscure.
The case looks okay. I'm not a big fan of the mac look espically the most current, the silvery one with the big hole that a child, or adult, could easily stick a finger in and damage the speaker.
The best feature i've found dealing with mac cases are that the MainBoard is on the door that opens which is hinged this helps a lot and gives easy acces to all components on the Board. This Mac-Clone is lacking that.
This case like the Dell Dimension Cases uses what appearsd to be a palstic bar/clip to hold expansion cards in place and with the Dell's i've had a terrible experience with it functioning poorly. Micron's used to have a solid metal bar that worked well.
Rails are good for some people who like them bad for those who do not. If rails were standard across the board i would be in favor of them and would encouirage drive manufacturers to put them on their products consumer may like just being able to slide a drive in when they wated to put in a new one.
Overall the case looks nice, i figure i would scratch it up quickly, but has 2 don points and a maybe on the rails.
I like the firewire on the front!
It' all just my opinion. You are free to make your own even if you live in a coutry where the government wants you to be a robot like here in the US.
Apple has a keyboard that has chinese charachters on it. I imagine that these keyboards exisit and are not difficult to find. The apple keyboard is USB but it looks like a regular keyboard so a standard keyboard is used with diffrent combinations representing stuff. That is how i've seen it done for a research project that supported ancient egyption.
well that's true. Most of the rest of the world drives the other way, because it confused british soldiers when civilians were drivng down head on during wars against the english in the 1700s
Someone had to have copyrighted silence or silent parts in songs before. I would think you could argue previous works that have entered the public domain.
The only other thing would be to chalenge the duration. if the judge doesn't throw it out which hopefullyu he does.
i hope the author reads this

UMAX can shoot themselves in the face!

Allright just a few things to say:
1) Not worried
2) If we had to worry cause no one was willing to bail them out someone would buy them out.
3) The network wouldn't fail entirely.
4) the worst case US governemnt will prevent this so i'm not at all concerned
5) If it did fail completly at least spam would be reduced.
