    Think about this: If the Google Car pulls into your driveway, can you go out and start blasting away at it?

    I believe the approved procedure is to fire a shotgun blast through the door and then one into the air. Or perhaps the other way around.

    Yes, it does. Love your narrow test case of OSX, which I have used briefly and not in this context, and don't anticipate using again unless prodded. Try looking at Qt on Windows, Gnome, or KDE, guy.

    I tried, but the blood in my eyes made it hard to evaluate after a few seconds.

    The ocean is big, and pirates are very small. Hard to spot. Sort of like muggers; not many, but they pop up anywhere. Also, Somali businessmen are financing theses operations for profit - ransom is lucrative. This isn't about kids on a boat. This is big business (while it lasts).

    Well, you can't just leave a missile in a silo for 5 decades and expect it to still work. Anyway, the mission has changed for ICBMs. There are far fewer, so the individual missiles must be more accurate and more reliable.

    God forbid there's a near miss with a nuke.

    Was it Bushnell or someone else who essentially forced the creation of Activision by being a douche? The way I heard it (or remember that I heard it) is that Atari wouldn't give a cut of sales, wouldn't promote the identity of programmers, etc. So a few guys from Atari left and formed Activision (sad me. I used to know their names without looking up in wikipedia). So did this happen while Bushnell was at the helm or after they were sold to WB?
