Make a MAC whitelist, only add known devices. Whitelist your ip for remote management. That would at least make it far more dufficult. I know you can easily spoof an ip and MAC, but I dont believe you can spoof to a SPECIFIC MAC. All this after a firmware reload and full reset.
Stopping any kind of mitm is very difficult though.
