People code what they code. If they don't want to, they won't. However, I can understand if it would cost somebody there job. You have to look at it more as the company taking advantage of spyware and not the programmers.
I got the DVD set box last night and I watched it last night and this morning.
If you ever watched the original VHS version, you will notice that the dialog and the voice-overs have changed dramatically!! I kind of miss the old dialog, however I feel that the new one has a little more explanation into the story.
Still doesn't beat the manga, though:D

No it isn't. Only Japanese with English Subs or English 5.1 Kind of sucks, eh?
