prep.ai.mit.edu still works!
My .ncftp-file was last updated in 1994, March 12, and contains these sites:
prep.ai.mit.edusunsite.unc.eduspcot.sanders.comharbor.ecn.purdue.edu
The first one, the home of GNU, still works and is being updated with the latest of GNU software. The others doesn't work anymore.
This is probably just a memory overwrite. Somewhere, there's a programmer studying a stacktrace in gdb ...
The first thing I would do to a new PC is install Linux.
Well, if you really want to make money, patent not doing your job. That way you could probably earn a lot of money on slashdot readers.. :-)
I always thought it was the Balrog humming.
These could be of special interest malloc(strlen(\w+));and these new char[strlen(\w+)];
One rule: Will move for bandwidth
for this years Elvis lookalike competition on Mars.
