The fact that the DVDs are sold, not licensed, means that the copyright holder does not have the legal authority to impose extra conditions upon the buyer.
If that's true, why is DVD ripping illegal in some countries?
I'm not even sure the G3240 comes with the HD 4000 because Intel makes it near impossible to know which GPU is used inside a lot of their CPUs, listing only "Intel HD".
I'm looking at the new Intel G3240 with Intel HD 4000 and I was wondering if something around the same price range (70$CAD) from AMD had an equivalent CPU with a better GPU.
I thought about the PeachyPrinter when I read the article too.
For the price Autodesk is asking, I thought it would use a DLP or something, to print one layer at a time instead of tracing every vector one at a time.
Yay!
Oh really?
Granted, Star Wars isn't Star Trek, but I'd prefer that scenario than see 1/24 of a second of Jar Jar Binks ever again.
They're the ones who have to deal with frickin' Jar Jar Binks. The worst we have is... Tribbles?
Lots and lots of Tribbles.
EXTER-MI-NATE!
Don't you know that on Slashdot, you can attack Mac OS X, iOS, Linux and Android, but you can't say a word about the holy gaming-OS?
If that's true, why is DVD ripping illegal in some countries?
Really? Apple, Google and Opera are all going to add EME?
One goose says to another goose: "Let's not land here, there's flying wolves in these parts."

Thank you for your comments. I guess I'll go with the G3240 since it's a better CPU, endure the Intel HD GPU for now and add a GTX 750TI later.
Even if Tesla becomes the best and largest car battery manufacturer in the world doesn't mean they can't make cars as well.
IMHO somebody's being paid by the other car manufacturers to steer Tesla away from making cars.
Then again, the "low-cost" electric cars sure aren't coming from Tesla any time soon, so I don't really care.

What also surprises me is that even Adobe actually scored higher than Amazon.
Then why the fuck are you linking to itworld.com?
Here's the actual report, from EFF themselves.
To be fair, this is the first year Apple gets all points. Also worth pointing out is that Microsoft and Google also got all points.
Cryptsy is about to start trading Bitcoin, Litecoin, Feathercoin and Dogecoin for USD.
Monoprice also announced their printer, it's similar to a dual-head MakerBot but for roughly half the price.

I was replying to the troll part of the sarcasm.
The only thing that requires DRM is videos. The only one big enough to ask for DRM in browsers is Netflix.
The real question is, why the fuck are people watching Netflix in a fucking browser? Ever heard of those big flat things called televisions?
President Skroob: That's amazing. I've got the same combination on my luggage.
As a Canadian, I am deeply offended by the fact that Samsung apologized to its workers without buying genuine Canadian apologies first.
And as a Canadian, I apologize for this lame attempt at a joke.
You say "Apple Foxconn employees", as if Apple was the only Foxconn client and Samsung didn't do the exact same thing.
Current number of websites using MEME is over 9000.
But since we already bought a license to the media with the first purchase, why can't we buy a replacement disc for a small 99 cents fee?
