That is it or maybe you do have a lifestyle around tech just not the tragic urban hipster style. You probably do not get seltzer water delivered or wear a steampunk clothes are a regular basis. IMHO the tech bubble is a big problem. You can have a great startup in say North Dakota full of smart people but not get any venture capital or buzz because all the VC and press are on the coasts.
Yep you also have anti ship missiles that you can fire along a vector that will pick their target. Anti radar missles that will hang from a chute waiting for the radar to come on.... And so on.
MSNBC is just left wing Fox News. Heck they where bashing the Romney family christmas picture this year because on his grandkids is an adopted African American child! He isn't running for anything or even an elected official anymore. If you want a good news site that is shockingly not biased, try VOANews.com. They actually go with facts vs commentary. Frankly I think it does so well is because no one in the US knows that it is their so the politicians don't really mess with it.
Not really. Most "normal" people are just as outraged as everyone else. They just don't bother to fight with pigs. In that way the normals are probably much better off mentally than we are. The thing is with an open forum system you have to deal with the "activist" crowd. It does not matter if it is right or left they are sure they are correct and everyone else is an idiot. Most people just skip over the comments or do not waste their time. What I think is funny is that people misunderstood what I was saying. Slashdot is not a bastion of polite, openminded and levelheaded people. Over all the commenters are the bigoted guy down the street that is sometimes nice while the commenters on the mainstream sites are Neo-Nazis that scream at Jewish children on their way to Sabbath school.
I think it is more along the idea of with out the tragic hipster culture. The Verge and Gizmodo are too involved with the lifestyle side of tech. For example when I listen to the podcast "It's a thing" I keep hearing about idiots dressing up like captain Nemo and talking about artisanal hardware. Where I live you just do not see fixie bikes and $300 backpacks. The Verge podcasts is full of never ending negative comments about "Red States" much the same as you hear in the comments on Slashdot. So yes I can see the value of a tech site that does not live in the Hipster culture bubble.
Actually the amount of vile idiots in the comments of the mainstream news sites is about the same. 95% CNN, MSNBC, and FOX comments are total dung heaps. Frankly they all make Slashdot look like a bastion of polite, openminded, and levelheaded people.
A lot of AC routers are half the price. $199 maybe but $299 is just too much. You can run OpenWRT on much less expensive hardware. Too bad because I really want one.
Cheers. I tried to explain how I got people to change their mind about evolution and all you want to do is debate that which can and can not be proven. As I said my faith is not up for debate. Have a good night.
My faith is not up for debate. It is my faith but my church does not believe in original sin. The university that is run by my church teaches evolution in science courses. If you do not believe that is fine and your choice and I will not try to convince you otherwise. Frankly that would be as foolish of a task as to try and convince the creator of the creationist museum he is wrong.
But if you want the simple 5 cent explanation I can give it to you. God loves the truth. Anything that is not based on truth does not serve God. When creationists cook the books or tell half truths they are not in service to God. Or to put it really simply, it is not my job to tell God how to do his job it is my job to learn. At best I can only hope to show that a christian does not have to be your enemy.
You have a strange idea of what free is. What if I want to share my ideas with society? You know freedom of speech? No thanks I find it disturbing at best. Of course we do not know what the islands are really like. It maybe that all the progress that is allowed comes from the islands.
I would hazard to guess it is around 400 ft. Notice that manned aircraft are limited to 500ft while RC aircraft aka drones are limited to 400 ft. That gives you 100ft of separation. The key here is that Peta is out to harass people that are doing nothing illegal. Overflying someone with a "drone" is actually putting that at risk for injury which really is not okay.
I got invited to a local church once for a creationist lecture and got into a question and answer season with the speaker. I did not change the speaker but I might have changed a few of the other peoples change their mind. Of course it probably helped that I am both a christian and believe in evolution.
They left out that the extra charging would only be at peak. The sun does move so unless you have a tracking mirror you will have the spot moving all over the place. Oh Ford this is must the 21st century version of this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Nucleon
Wow that is the most confused reply I think I have ever seen. "Strange - people fishing should be "free" to fish unmonitored......people hunting should be "free" to hunt unmonitored......people on the Internet should be "free" to be monitored at will...
To me that sounds like future terrorist plots could best be discussed on a hunting trip, because you have the gun lobby ensuring that you'll be undisturbed..."
First so do you think that people should be allowed to take part in totally legal activity without out harassment? If so what does the monitoring of internet meta data have to do with anything? Second do you understand that these drones are often flown over private property without consent? Yes aircraft can fly over private property but they must do so at a safe altitude which is 1000 feet from any obstacle within 2000 ft of the aircraft. In none congested areas it is down to 500 ft of altitude and no closer than 500 ft from any person, vehicle or obstacle. So you can fly any lower than a 50 story building. The rules for flying a radio controlled aircraft have been around for at least 50 years and those are. The big rules are you must be in VISUAL contact with the aircraft at all times and you do not fly over people. You also do not fly over private property without permission. So PETA was already breaking safety regulations with these operations and should be stopped before they hurt someone. BTW I do not fish, hunt, or have a gun. I do fly RC aircraft.
That is it or maybe you do have a lifestyle around tech just not the tragic urban hipster style. You probably do not get seltzer water delivered or wear a steampunk clothes are a regular basis.

That does look like a good site. I still think VOA is also a very good site.

Sorry but I didn't notice that the network card was not 1 Gbps. Here is the corrected build with new network card. It is only a few dollars more expensive and the AC adaptor is a 3 antenna model. You also have USB and sata ports to add Storage if you want to use it as a NAS as well.

All iron block engines are sleeveless as are most modern aluminum blocks. Do you mean sleeve valve engines maybe?
So will this mean that sleeve valves will be practical.
That has been solved for a while. Oil jet to to bottom of the piston. They have been doing that for a long time in racing and motorcycle engines.
Compared to a WRT54G? Maybe wireless but wired I really doubt. It is an ARM and it is not like they have a ton of PCIe lanes for network interfaces.
Actually you can do it for less.
Yea you might want to better power supply and replace the spinning disk with an SSD but it can be done.

You just add a switch for the extra ports.
A lot of AC routers are half the price. $199 maybe but $299 is just too much. You can run OpenWRT on much less expensive hardware. Too bad because I really want one.
If I miss understood then I am sorry.

1. It is not security but customs. It is the same rules they use to take fruits and meats away from travelers.
2. There is no wood in Ikea furniture.
