    If most people had a Mental evaluation, they would be found to be ineligible to own a weapon. I find most Gun owners to be less than sane and possess itchy trigger fingers. A mental evaluation should be mandatory for both Hand Guns and Rifles, currently in my State, registration and background checks for Rifles don't exist, they do for Hand Guns.

    I can go down town to a Pawn shop, walk in and walk out with a crippled AK47, come home and order some parts...and have a fully automatic weapon to mow down some folks I'm pissed at. There is no reason for Civilians to own assault rifles period. I am under firm belief the second amendment pertains to Law enforcement and Military usage. Not Joe Schmo wanting to shoot cats and the school bully. But whatever, you people do whatever you want. I am a Gun owner by the way, it collects DUST.

  3. People love to gamble and see what happens later. Kickstarter and others take advantage of that Gambling idea. But if somebody has a great Idea but lacks funds, I think this is a great way to get that Idea into our homes, don't you think?. For me personally, a native WoW client is all I am looking for in the MMO category, Wine doesn't cut it for me.

    Oh my, people will call you Mentally Ill and come for your Guns!. Money does make the world go around though. Did you expect a Star Trek Like "We have no need for money, we do things to better Humanity" type of System?. Sounds nice, but from an early age, we are taught that free is evil and if you're not rich; then you are nobody.

    It's not eh. As a business why would I want to cure a person when I can keep making money by offering lifetime treatments?. That's just how it is with big Pharma, most intelligent people know this. If they started actually curing everything, their profits would fall and the markets would tank.

    Nobody comes to my house and tells me I can't use my Desktop anymore. Off the top of my head I can't remember, but many companies have pulled the plug on their cloud and left users in the cold. It's all good though because in the end I get a huge LOL out of it.

    huh? Ubuntu has no font hinting? This is news to me, since I'm using Font hinting right now and it looks great. I swear, people who don't know anything about Linux should not even bother to comment. 30 seconds to load? Yeah, on a P2 with 500MB Ram...or Dirty Windows. Java ME runs on Mobiles and can be implemented by device manufacturer's.

    And your name is a dead giveaway as to why you spew the nonsense about Linux. I sincerely hope you do not work in the Industry.

    Your eyes must function differently from mine, because I see the reverse, Linux and Mac being crapped on and Microsoft being praised.     They're probably into selling Illegal things, It's all the rage now. I don't sell anything Illegal and I still don't own a Cellphone, tablet, whatever gadget. But that's OK see, because I don't really have a need for those things. All the people I use to know have moved on with their life, I live in a new town and It's difficult trying to make friends when you know nobody and everybody is anti-social.

    Kindle? I can read just fine here at the PC, or one of numerous books at the Library. Yes, I guess you can just call me Old Fashioned at age 30 something. Is my brother Old Fashioned also for liking Black and white programs like 'Gunsmoke' at age 20?. Contrary to popular belief, not all young people are into this Technology craze and some of us are smart enough to figure out the consequences of becoming reliant on these Modern Marvels of technology.

    When something bad happens, and one day it will, guaranteed; what will you do with out your GPS when a Flare knocks out the Sat for two months?. What will you do if another Great Depression hits and forces you to stand at breadlines with a useless device nobody wants to buy because they can't afford the service?. And NO, it's not a Depression (like now) if people are still buying iPhones and things they don't need. There is a difference between a Need and a Want.

And you're correct in saying the Conservative base is shrinking, since a majority of them are White, NRA supporting, former KKK Members. I am White by the way, but Truth is Truth. The Conservative Party has no choice but to become more Liberal, or bust. I also wish other parties has a fighting chance in Polls, such as the Green Party.

    I have found the same problem with Congress, I'm very active in the Political arena. When sending EMail, it's mostly ignored or pre-written. But when I have sent out physical letters, a reply was received. Whether or not it was by the person you were contacting, or a secretary isn't the point; the point is a reply was received in response to physical mail. Ergo, you just can't beat real life for social activities.

    Yes. people tend to forget Minecraft is popular and uses Java. There are also Webcam sites that are very popular with the Porn crowd that use Java. If you want people to ditch Java, then you need to fix the reason WHY they need it. Instead of coming here and pushing your views about how you managed to avoid Java, because after all it's your opinion and the last time I checked; It's no one else's.
