    Bullshit, inbred: http://www.ucsusa.org/our-work... the world's scientific community has zero reason to care about your political views.. other countries don't have to care about your political views... as Neil deGrasse Tyson said last night, the US is one of the worst countries in the world in science deniers... and you and your high school diploma fighting against PUBLISHED scientists with doctorates are the reason.

  7. Why is he marked a 0? He's right, Pascal's Wager has nothing to do with erring on the side of caution. If anything, it's saying erring on the side of caution means you are already fucked in the eyes of god anyway. In this case, erring on the side of caution actually BREEDS technology and cleans up the environment. When that's your worst case, it's ok to err on it...

    I buy Blu-Rays because I have a home theater 7.2 home stereo with a large hd screen and would like to take advantage of the sound quality of the blu-ray. Also, I happen to like the extras that are on some of them... not all, mind you.. but some are very interesting, especially directorial commentary.

    I use Philip's Hue the same way. I also get texts when doors are left open, I get texts when the dryer or washer is done, I can remotely lock doors, I can remotely shut my garage door, I can set my security alarm, check the video cam, turn on any lights, turn off any lights (including the outdoor floods), turn on and off tvs...I can make it appear as if someone is home and I'm on vacation if I really wanted.

    For most of it's infancy, Hue Lights were only sold via the Apple Store.. now Philips's is making hand over fist on those bulbs, it's hard to deny this is the next big thing.

    Apple makes over-priced, under-performing garbage, the sooner people realize this, the better.

    It already is and it's insanely easy.. however, you can make it more difficult as you have levels you can set to play at.. inferno: monster level 1 - 10.. making all things that drop level 63. Or you can turn monster level off and play at insanely easy inferno mode

    Runner's watches have been around for awhile now. I realize this is slashdot and that may not be an area of expertise for you. If you can combine what a runner's watch does for fitness with some of the some of the quick needs that would stop the need for pulling out my phone to look.. notifications, see who's calling, weather, time... I think it could be win!
