  1. I should add if you look at the speeds it is symmetric, so if you get the 10meg plan it is 10 up and 10 down. Also I never speed tested it below 11, and they had a policy were they were paying for there bandwidth anyway so after business hours and on weekends when they had less traffic they would increase your speed to utilize more the there total bandwidth, so at nights and weekends I would typically get speeds of 18 to 25.

  2. In line with what forever wondering was saying, look at www.paulbunyan.net a local coop Telco that is laying fiber and providing capless data up and down at twice the speed for half the cost as centrylink in several small cities in northern MN. why cant the big telcos match this?

Sure let churches put labels on the phones. Soon enough the iPhone will have a catholic church buddy Jesus on the side, and all android phones will be rated 4 or 5 Satans (of course they will reserve the 10 Satan rating for windows phones). your just advocating to hand more power over to apple.

So that kind of blows a whole in a large part of your secuirty... and makes your "non-issue" into a big issue

With proven differences in brain chemestry and development is it unbelivable that females would respond to the stimuli of gaining power in a way that makes them less likeable, or that the females who were driven and/or wanted to gain power would have personalitys making them less likeable once they gained power? why jump right to the conclusion that its a societal difference when it could just be a gender differance.

HP laser Printers use Canon print engines. basicly HP laser printers are reskined Canon printers with custom drivers. If you take one apart lots of parts even have "Canon" molded into them. I am not just refering to the scaner or the fuser section, the enter paper path is from Canon, going all the way back to at least the Laserjet 4, but im guessing it goes all the way back tot he Laserjet 1, or whatever the first HP laser printer was named. Seems likely maybe they should have tried harder then just reskining a product from the start, must have been hard to reskin it ever 6 months.
