So instead of innovating more, they're going to innovate less. My problem with the iPhone and others is that they keep making them smaller and getting rid of the bezel, where the hell am I supposed to hold on to it? Without a case it's tough as heck to hold it above my head while lying down or even while doing lots of movement.
That is correct, but they'll drop it to 2g/Edge in most cases and the ones found by military bases of unknown origin also did that. They would falsely broadcast to your phone that you still have a 4g or LTE connection though. That detection was one of the features on that "black phone" that was supposed to be super secure.
He was probably making the roadways safer though. Most of the time when people merge into my lane while I'm still there, they have a phone in their hands.
I believe they are streamlining, like Apple. One or two phone models with few variation. Nokia/MS/Lumia line had/has several models of different tiers and sizes in production, but they have stated they are going to go how their tablets are going, which signals to me, less options, better quality.
Your numbers are off, there are 196 countries if you include Iran, if you include Korea as non-war then the number of countries bombed by the US doesn't break 30.
In some cities there is competition and even for some people in parts of states, but for the large majority of the area in the US there is no competition.
Google doesn't put you in jail or harass you every day you go to work or bring charges against you so you need a lawyer and lose your job because you're defending yourself in court or blackmail you with some minor crime to get you to go undercover and you wind up dying. I'm sure they could do some of that, but they don't.
You mean the US Marshals? They used to do what the FBI did until it's mission became large enough to spin off, but here's something that makes Marshals better than other federal law agencies: they can enforce all local laws as well as federal. Just re-expand the Marshals and get rid of the FBI. Also mail fraud is investigated by the US Postal Inspection Service and gambling would easily be switched to the ATFE or the Secret Service since gambling is legal under federal law it usually involves tax dodging.
The fact that the state requires a license with an exam does add culpability to the state to make sure the people are up to the standards of the licensing requirements. So we're assuming here by your comment that the state felt reasonably sure that the girl in this crash was a capable driver at the time of her exam.
Are there less just popping up at over 1 billion, but there are more valued at 1 billion? Are they saying that more companies are refusing venture capital until they're worth more?
An accident doesn't give probable cause. There are like 30,000 traffic deaths a year, over 100,000 accidents, it doesn't give up your rights because you crash.
You can drive quite a way before you need to pull over, my phone has a quick access menu to put it in airplane mode and turn off location without unlocking the phone, so yea, I could easily do it.
Don't know why you are down voted, I agree with this completely.
But they're doing it to TVs people already bought.

But then what would the Fed do with all the surplus weapons and armor they give/sell/grant to police departments?

Also, why do cops while they are off duty (civilian) need access to weapons that regular non-paramilitary civilians can't buy?
But if it's illegal for citizens to have armor piercing ammo or automatic weapons, why do cops need them? Who are they fighting with them?

Would be funny if you got that because you downloaded a couple of games legally.

This would say you're wrong: http://www.nydailynews.com/lif... and so would this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...

The NSA does a lot more domestic spying than you think. Also the RoE for US troops is to keep us from being the bad guys or shooting the wrong people.

I too enjoy SMBC
Makes sense to me, if they aren't saving boats what else do they have to do?

Fucking Columbo solves shit through practicality, he doesn't need someone apologizing for not being able to help. He breaks down their bullshit lies.
What he quoted was the Navy Seal Copypasta: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/...

That should have immediately followed the term Unicorns instead of coming in sentence three. This was just poorly written.
