  1. Re:Ouch! on Motorcyclists To Get Wearable Airbags · · Score: 1

When I lanesplit.. it's when traffic is doing less than twenty.. and even then i'm doing 25 at the most. I never go 65 between stopped cars. The first step to safety on a motorcycle is training. A motorcyclist must understand that most people driving cars are absolute blind morons. Therefore I view the world as if the drivers on the road cannot see me.. so i'm always prepared for one of those cage-driving jackasses trying to run me over.

I take it you never learned to drive a car without ABS. Check on google.. Most Professional drivers disable ABS, if you know how to Stop properly then it really does just increase stopping distance.

I was highsided at 40mph.. as I went into the air I thought "FUCKFUCKFUCK" and hit the ground.. as I hit I rolled with it.. but even then most of the time I dont think most people would have the presence of mind (while flying!) to tuck and roll.

I never ride without my helmet/gloves etc.. But I dont know about this air-vest thing. I'll stick with a full-leather suit.

Personally I enjoy naming them after space objects..

Sol, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Belt, Jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune, pluto, titan, dactyl, epimetheus, hekadoncheries, pandora, galileo, voyager, alpha centauri..

Space is infinite, therefore so will your naming scheme. Of course there is a theoretical "Alpha Kappa Romeo Whiskey Tango One Niner" point

In a fashion I believe he's right. The model for linux does break the mold a bit. Typically software costs money and the developer is compensated. Or the software is free and the support compensates the developer. Linux is both free and community supported. Companies based around linux seem to make their bucks in any way possible.. It is a bizzare setup
