Or just acting childish...oh wait a second...
In all seriousness, i wonder if this got started due to someone accidentally texting their parents about a drug deal.;)
If you want up-to-date packages, there are many other distros based off debian that do so, including, but not limited to Ubuntu. Debian has always been about stability and reliability.
Yep, +1 there, what's annoying is having to work with an old pix firewall from a modern day machine running an up-to-date version of java. Java Web Start and Java Applets are the bane of my existence and I hope they burn in hell real soon.
Then we talk about updates...Has anyone ever tried to update java without admin access on a Windows box? As often as they are rolling out updates we find ourselves spending 1/3rd of our weeks just keeping java up to date on everyone's machines.
I'm sure it is common sense, but it's also worth noting that there isn't a wireless shortage or anything. It's carriers not planning for abnormal usage volume. I've seen cell service (Verizon LTE data for instance) work just fine at large events with almost 100,000 people when the cellco plans properly.
Verizon took months to roll out the last Galaxy Nexus android update to end users. This is despite the fact that other users got their update within a couple days of it going live. Verizon is horrible when it comes to updates.
People tend to forget that without the 'patent cost' we'd have no research. Drug companies need those massive profit margins in order to fund future research for present and future illnesses. Especially since the government drug research is at an all time low.
That y_key_ file is a yahoo verification file. It's likely included in some page somewhere. Doesn't mean that they were hacked. Give me an hour to write a web crawler and I can come up with a similar listing. Notice he didn't post any actual proof that linode was hacked.

Don't they know that linux is going to take over the world? Oh god this is totally flamebait, but i can't resist...

Get back to me when they wire up the US ;)
Is it worth throwing a minimum of 5-8 years of your life away for money?
The stupidity of some people baffles me.
+1 for this. Why KVM?

They apparently found multiple unexploded bombs. This was confirmed to be a bombing.
