I always have and always will do lots of "work stuff" at home.
a good part of my free cash goes to that, and I don't regret it at all. Not trying to get ahead any more (63 years old) but I enjoy my work. I like to learn. I can't spend every moment at the office, so I do stuff at home so I can tinker when the wife and grand kids are doing their thing.

Business can be learned, but like all things it is better to learn that in your pre-teen years and continues for a life time.
Marketing is something you are born with... you can learn it but the innate talent (?) has to come first.

I too complain about effing up a perfectly good thing. I think most changes are being made to make them work in cell phones. Too bad, I lake computers.
Yes, distribution is a HUGE problem.
The virtue is that nourishing tasty bugs can be propagated everywhere. No more dependence on transporting everything vast distances.
