Remember though that our constitution is old enough to drink in the United States while yours is kinda not. Our Constitution's great great grandkids can drink in the U.S. while your constitition kind can't.

Venezuela is an excellent counter argument. They are becoming just as dictatorial and scapegoating the United States. But the current administration turns a blind eye to ideological equals. I read a hilarious article in Sunset magazine that had rich winery owners worried that their poorer neighbors might allow fracking on their land and thus empower them. I practically heard echoes of the French Aristocracy complaining that the peasants were hunting on their land again.

Denialist research, I.e. scientific method, is in a state of McCarthyism. Legitimate research into the variables of the climate's temperature are either told to keep quiet about their findings or shut down. The reason? Because it's going against "settled"science. No one would ever get their denialist research published to be capable of receiving a Nobel, and they'd most likely be out of a job too. Just ask the scientists who wanted to find out the effects of something as important as clouds on the global climate.
Every country is socialist to one extent our another or another. The world isn't black and white. I just wish people who believed in socialism stopped scapegoating capitalism to prove their point or found excuses like fake man-made global warming.
