Booty Bay and the rest of Azeroth's goblin towns are part of Steamwheedle Cartel, while the new horde-joining goblins are from a different cartel, so from a lore standpoint there wouldn't be any reason for Booty Bay to change into Horde hands (in fact, it could theoretically be more hostile to the new goblins from a lore point of view, but it'll probably stay the way it is).
The first link you provided is full of lies and opinions (for instance, Pelosi DID WITNESS swastikas and Hitler references in the town hall meetins, she didn't make it up) and it's just so full of bullshit right-wing propaganda it cannot be in any way considered to be worthy of "insightful" moderation. Also, a nice interpretation of polling numbers, saying "76% of Democrats favor the proposal and 76% of Republicans are opposed." Not caring to mention that only 20% of Americans self-identify as republicans (can't bother to back up with a link since I am just as trustworthy as the link you provided, and I'm being serious).
The second link states that Harry Reid considers spreading lies "evil-mongering". And you know what, the kind of lies the anti-reform propagandists have been spreading are outright evil, the death panel lies primarily, then there's the lesser lies about government takeover, loss of control over your medical care (hint, it's already being controlled by your private insurer, not you), etc.
You know, if the republican party had their way, being poor and asking for social security benefits would be a crime, since government handouts are socialism which is communism which is evil (that's their logic, anyway). So obviously the program was on the right track. Of course, being rich and asking for a government handout is perfectly fine with republicans, since they expect to get their share of it back in campaign donations etc.
Well, essentially Microsoft's monopoly is hurting the end-users by artificially forcing netbooks to be lower-powered than they would be otherwise. I'm sure the manufacturers think it's reasonable since they get to sell more powerful netbooks as upgrades to the old models once Microsoft eases the licensing deal requirements. Or whatever.
Um, losing weight can be simple, but generally the "exercise more, eat less" argument will fail. If you want to lose weight, keep in mind the following:
Increase your fiber intake. Don't eat potatoes, white rise, white pasta or white bread (well, actually, there are fiber rich white breads out there now, so check the nutritional value information if you want some of that). Go for the fiber rich alternatives.
Eat small meals, often. You should have small snacks several times during the day (something like one banana is a small snack). Eating a few big meals is bad for you (well, your dentist would have a different opinion, actually, but we're going for weight loss here, taking care of your teeth is easy, xylitol products to the rescue).
If you must have sweets (and hey, who doesn't), eat less of them. Even going from a 400g bag of sweets to 200g bag of sweets a week is something that will show in a few months time. Again, it's better to have a sweet after every meal than to try to suppress your sweet tooth and then gobble up everything in one go when that fails.
Find opportunities for utility exercise (e.g. walking to the store instead of taking the car, biking to work).
Don't torture yourself. If you hate the stuff you're doing for exercise, find some other form of exercise that you can enjoy (or at least, tolerate). The world is full of alternatives when it comes to forms of exercise.
Years ago I heard of a study that found out that people who are bullied in school are more likely to have feelings of distrust and paranoia towards other people as adults (not all do, but the statistical difference to people who get through school without being bullied is signifant). Sorry, can't provide the link (heard it on Finnish radio years ago, a Finnish study if I recall correctly).
You bought a monopoly. An EU monopoly is no better than a Microsoft monopoly. Both take-away freedom of choice.
Plus your 85-year-old neighbor demanding that you give him money so he can buy a new heart (or house or car), is called theft of property and labor.
He's not asking me for money because the government will pay for the expenses. I pay taxes to the government, but the 85-year old guy has probably paid more taxes in his life than I've yet managed to. He's voted in the elections as have I so it's government by the people. We both wanted public health care, or at least I did (since it comes in handy when I'm unemployed, or maybe when I'm 85 and need a new heart). Where's the theft?
I personally have only played a couple multi-hour sessions of WAR (EU) on Vista x64, and haven't had any crashes yet. I wouldn't be surprised if I went through the beta without crashing at all, and I would be equally unsurprised if you suffered these crashes until the next patch at least. These things are in some cases software/driver conflicts that can be a real PITA to figure out and fix. It might also be a x86/x64 difference, although I think that less likely.
(As an off-topic mention, launching Steam and especially trying to launch Portal BSODs my Vista with certainty. It used to work, but the amount of changes that I made to my installation between using Steam was so high I just didn't know which one would be responsible. Instead of mucking about trying to fix my Vista I just use Steam in Linux under Cedega or Crossover Games, got the latter for free from an offer they had.)
Distributing these ridiculous child rumours are not going to help Obama or even hurt Palin. The only provable fact of possible wrong-doing on Palin's part is that she took a flight from Texas to Alaska after the water broke, to give birth in Alaska. Now, it all ended up well, but that's still a bit of a risky thing to do.
Well, you have to vote for a third-party candidate then. McCain is just as unconstitutional as Bush. Bush believes that habeas corpus doesn't apply to Americans. McCain is following the Bush line. Besides, Obama is AGAINST the immunity and voted for the FISA bill for other reasons. If there's a way to work around it as president he will do it. McCain will not, and will just continue the "I don't recall/we don't have to answer to anybody" line of Bush administration.
Maybe you should go study what "blatant" and "Marxism" mean, since I don't think they mean what you think they mean. Obama is somewhat to the left in the extremely right-leaning American political landscape. And if you define mediocre as George W. Bush, then yes, McCain is mediocre. In reality, he is not just mediocre, he's terrible. Bush policies with even more war-mongering won't save United States on any front.
You have to understand what McCain wants and what McCain can get are completely different things. His economics have been called voodoo economics because his numbers don't add up. He's promising tax cuts (which are good if targeted correctly, but he's not doing even that, just giving the rich even more) and budget cuts. Now, there's money to be cut in the budget, but not as much as McCain claims. On Stephanopopoulis's show (spelling and all that, too late, sorry) when asked about it he just said he'll find the money right now. That's it. No mention of WHERE he'd get it. He has claimed elsewhere pork-barrel projects getting cut but there's not enough there, and some of that money he can't touch (some is for Israel, and anything negative about Israel is a no-go for anyone running for office).
Then there's the wars to be waged. They cost money. They cost soldiers. Some veterans are saying McCain plans for Iraq basically mean conscription, since the military can't otherwise sustain the efforts. Ready to go die for your country? In Iraq? Iran? Russia? (I'm not kidding, I really think that McCain is perfectly willing to consider a war with Russia, directly or indirectly in some poor "satellite" state, after seeing the Georgia conflict and the responses play out).
Also, you're wrong at governments being terrible at managing money. Sure they can be terrible, they might even be terrible more often than not, but it's not necessary for them to be. Governments can be run efficiently. Some of U.S. programs already work more efficiently than private counterparts (the government paid health program has significantly less overhead than private insurance companies). It's unfortunate that the single payer healthcare model isn't being driven by any candidate, but I guess the political climate makes it impossible. It really would save a lot of money if implemented right. At least Obama is willing to make healthcare affordable to all. Gambling with peoples lives is not the right thing to do, and it's what's happening in United States now and would continue to happen even more under McCain's rule. Privatized social security? Private companies would prioritize profit over people's social security all the time, as is happening in health care. The poor would be at the whims of the market powers that don't care one bit about their security or health.
You are right in direct assistance is good, better than what the government can accomplish in most cases, but that doesn't mean the government is necessarily a lot worse or that government programs and volunteers are somehow mutually exclusive.
McCain cannot possibly attack Obama on the FISA issue, since it's a Bush thing, and he's a Bush croney. If McCain goes against FISA his base (all those people who believe Bush is right in everything he does, basically) would abandon him. This is why McCain has flip-flopped on many of his previously "mavericky" positions. If Bush would have wanted an "any American can be tortured for information" on FISA McCain still would have cheered for it, that's how low he's gone.
Yes, Obama's failure to stand up against FISA is, well, a failure, but nobody is perfect, and McCain is still a lot worse on pretty much all the issues that count. As a nerd, I'll tell you that in the presidential election, the tech stuff just isn't as big a concern as affordable healthcare for all, foreign policy and wars, economy and all that. Still, I'd say Obama is still the winner there on the tech front, at least his campaign truly gets the power of Internet in driving voters.
Oh, and the speculated reason of Obama voting for FISA was to avoid the Republican "he's not tough on terrorism" attack line, because Democrats have to prove they're tough on terrorism and love United States, while Republicans fight terrorists in the womb and love America, just hate half the people living in it (last line courtesy of John Stewart, the most informative political analyst you guys seem to have:P ).
For Europeans on MS Windows EBU's olympics pages would probably be the best source for net coverage (all televised events are shown live there, no commentary). Don't know how if it works outside Europe without trickery, or if it can be gotten to work outside Windows. (I haven't personally bothered to test it even IN Windows yet).
That's McCain for you. He flip-flops and when he doesn't, he outright lies about his current and past positions. Quite frankly I wouldn't be surprised if even McCain doesn't know what the bloody hell he would actually do as president, but it cannot include half the stuff he's promised because of logical, financial and other impossibilities.
I still don't really think that harassment truly caused this. It may have contributed, but no amount of harsh typed words on a website would drive a normal, emotionally healthy person to this.
We're talking of a teenage girl, teenagers in general are not the most mentally stable and emotionally healthy beings in the world. That's why we treat them differently. Then there's the matter that this specific teenager was known to be mentally ill (diagnosis and meds were mentioned in previous stories, IIRC). The accused mother knew she was unstable (again, IIRC). What did she expect to happen? The mother spent months setting this up, did she do it just for the girl to shrug and walk away?
Now, let's make a bad analogy! If I buy some nuts from the store, bake them into cake, and give the cake to a person who then eats the cake, what crime did I commit? What if the person was allergic to nuts and died from eating the cake? What if I knew he was allergic when I gave the cake and knew he might very well die from eating it? (Let's assume that if the person asks me about nuts in the cake, I lied and said there were none). Some of these questions, I believe, are relevant in this case.
If you're a republican, you might be more inclined towards the War Song message. Click "The War Song" in the Flash doohickey on Max for president site. Part of the lyrics:

AoC is technically nice, as long as you have the hardware to run it. Artistically they could have taken a hint from the recent Diablo 3 article where the Blizzard designer blasted the fan mockups of D3 screenshots for lacking variance in colour etc. AoC is a prime example of how a dreary lack-of-colour world can really make you feel uninterested in a short time.
Two thirds of AoC gameworld is shades of grey and brown, one third is lush green. The lush green isn't all bad (since it's rarer), but the rest you get sooo bored of halfway through (or before) that when you pop into WoW you really start to appreciate what a dash of colour in the right place can do. What's worse, the characters wear almost the exact same armour art through the levels, so you have no feeling of progress from that direction either.

Yes, give America back to its original owners! Give America back to the indians!

Are cyclists banging into black cars in epidemic numbers or something?
Maybe more cyclists should watch where they're going. They're only four times your size after all. Hard to miss.
Maybe because they're hard to miss cyclists are banging into them?
If you're warning against clicking the link, don't include it in your own post. Thank you.
Well, as a somewhat pointless addendum, I did actually manage to crash WAR to the desktop today, but that was over the four hour mark.
I personally have only played a couple multi-hour sessions of WAR (EU) on Vista x64, and haven't had any crashes yet.
