Non-drunk people in cold climates who are wearing gloves will have to take the gloves off to start the car?
And what happens if you pickup 4 drunk people, I am sure there would be a strong smell inside the car, does the driver have a special pipe to blow in?
This is a fail system.
As apposed to a football club getting its younger fans 'addicted' into spending money on match tickets?
At the end of the day, the parents are in charge of childrens finances, it is the parents choice if they can put money in the game. As children become young adults, they might have their own bank card, but it is only money which is in their own account. If they have a part time-job then it is money they earned, who is to say they cannot waste it on some game?
The Prince did not grow up on a housing estate, where in the past (pre-social network, or games) the entertainment was hanging around on a street corner getting up to no good. There is many a household where the parents are happy that the children entertained in the house, rather than doing drugs on the street...There is also a reason why violent crime has dropped in the recent years, less youths hanging around...
The average Joe does not have entertainments like weekly international travel, fancy cars, helicopters, butlers and personal chefs...they have games like fortnite to take away the disappointment of daily existence.
Let me help fill in that missing context, facebook wants to collect as much data as its servers can hold on everyone on the planet, even those not signed up to facebook. They want to use this data to further their own aims, be it sell adverts, or ensure facebook retains its position in the market through all means available to them...
Ok some number from the UK: http://www.racfoundation.org/m...
In 2014, the majority of injured casualties occurred on built-up roads (72 per cent of total casualties). However, the majority of fatalities occurred on non built-up roads (just over a half). Although motorways carry around 21 per cent of traffic, they only account for 5.4 per cent of fatalities and 4.7 per cent of injured casualties. - See more at: http://www.racfoundation.org/m...
So 79% of the roads travelled are non highway, giving 94.6% of fatalities. Yes highways (or motorways) are much safer.
I first read it as the lorry was in a 2nd lane and moved into the tesla lane trapping the car in the middle as it moved lanes. If indeed the trailer was jack-knifed across the road then there is little the car can do, the radar would see right through the gap.
It points to trailers requiring the side rail protectors, then the radar would potentially spot it.
This death happened in the area of the car Tesla spoke of the test machine breaking during a crush test of a roof, apparently withstanding the weight of 4 cars on its roof. A Trailer moving sideways crushing the car, you would think if the roof was super strong the car would be pushed sideways, instead of going under.
"the first known fatality in just over 130 million miles where Autopilot was activated," while a fatality happens once every 60 million miles worldwide.
Autopilot is only allowed on highways, whereas I am sure they are comparing 60 million miles against normal driving which is inherently more dangerous than all cars heading in the same direction with barriers between the traffic flow.
Apples and Oranges.
"a hold over money from bank accounts around the world, luxury cars, big televisions, watches, artwork"
These assets are not even held in the USA, how can they possibly have jurisdiction on these assets? (such as a watch presumably taken from his home address).
Well, I have a rack in a datacenter, and I have an azure vm, which basically pings the rack servers / services to notify me of outage.
In the last year I when I come to install patches on the azure VM, about 3 times I have had the message 'unexpected shutdown, enter reason' message waiting when log-on. Number of times this has happened on my own rack (in last year? zero, you can go back 4 years and still zero).
If tor has 3 hops from source to hidden service, and perhaps there are 10,000 nodes, how hard is it for a government to have 25% of those nodes under its control? and if you own all the hops, you know where the hidden server is.
From the article "possessing an extreme pornographic image likely to cause injury", this could apply to many BDSM images.
Seems odd that...given that taking part in a Sunday sporting activity, might 'likely cause an injury', mountain biking, football, etc, I not see the police locking up these dare-devils.
Get an OS re-image then simply fill the hdds with random data.
This works well on HDDs, but SSDs with their 10 or 20% wear space, perhaps not, they need pulling and disposing.
Given that Ebola is currently confined to Africa, and that a relatively small number of people have caught it (less than 4000)...and these outbreaks seem to only come along once every 20 years, where was the incentive for the drug company to create this drug? Was it good timing that it has something ready to go just now.
Will each dose be prohibitively expensive to administer in Africa, or it remains to be seen if WHO will foot the bill to the tune of 10's of millions $$.
...and what if your piano kills not just the guy with the knife, but 10 of his neighbors also? it was still justified because you were at risk? the neighbors are fair game because they live next to a guy with a knife?
Violence begets violence, simple as that.
>Since Hamas started tossing bombs into Israel a few weeks ago, how would you respond had you been in charge of Israel? Keep in mind that the Iron Dome is effective, but not 100%.
I would guess that more people had been killed by car crashes in that time frame, so if they really want to protect the lives of the population, mandate a country wide 15mph speed limit.

Euro NCap do not rate the Tesla as you do (82% score):

Compared to say a similar size Jag XF (92%): http://www.euroncap.com/en/res...
Didn't MS buy Nokia for $7B, and they write off $7.6B, so they are pretty much writing off the whole Nokia as worthless.
How can DRM and locking out competitors ever be defined as good for consumers?
Cars have a lifetime (10 to 15 years), it is not a huge time to wait to replace them.
Microsoft had an agenda to push Windows Media Audio Lossless, this has pretty much been abandoned now, hence the adoption of FLAC.
Apple are now in the same position, not including support for FLAC to push Apple Lossless on people.

Seems this is standard practice in the US: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09...
However the world spotlight is on this case.

I guess so, as Server 2003 is from a similar era.
