  1. This will let us work longer, but from home. on Is Technology Killing Leisure Time? · · Score: 1

I work from my home and I think that extended hours are worth the ability to telecommute. This means that when I have children, they will never have to come home to an empty house. I feel that is worth losing sleep, and increasing my stress. Its a trade off of one thing for another, and I am willing to make that trade. If someone doesn't want to work more than 40 hours a week, they can get a job that doesn't ask that of them.

Did Katz just see office space for the first time or something?

  2. NSI is the devil. on What Should Happen To Expired Domains? · · Score: 1

I have been hosted with NSI in the past, and I can
say that I am disappointed with there conduct as a
business, and their performance as a hosting company. I would encourage people to take their business else where.

  3. ::How about the LUGs ?:: on Vendors Paying Lip Service To Linux Support? · · Score: 1

Why don't we have hardware tested by the LUGs for
certification. It would be fun, it would encourage participation, and it would increase consumer knowledge of new products=Advertising. And
we could even have a little logo from each LUG that tests the hardware. I think that it would be kind of cool.

Which is worse....the FBI wiretapping the american
public, or the american public being deluded into
    believing that its ok?

  5. Cool now we don't have to worry about oxidization on A 140GB CD-ROM? · · Score: 1

With a media that doesn't have a metallic layer we
have an option for truely long term data storage..
as long as the plastic stays clear over exposure to oxygen.
How do you label it? If it is prone to scratches would a case like on the sony MD solve that sort of problem?
