  1. This post implies that NASA is politicized, and focused "on opinion and emotion" This accusation is false. NASA is very good at building very good satellites. That's been their job for the past 60 years. If Trump and his supporters find the results of their satellites repugnant and reason to defund them then that's a Trump supporter problem. Not a NASA problem. Why spend billions more on an EPA satellite program when NASA is already doing their job and doing it well? Unless one wanted to further the cause of climate denialism and delay all scientific results for as long as possible while wasting as much money as possible...

  2. Then why not hack Trump's tax returns? Russia is acting deliberately and forcefully to influence the American electorate.

This is also why I run an IP filter list that blocks all of Russia and most of Ukraine from every site I maintain. 99.9% of their traffic is hack attempts and attacks. If 95+% of a nation's users are up to no good, then it is in my and my client's best interest to ban the entire nation. Nothing personal, and nothing against the Russian people, but 99.9% of their internet traffic is shit.

So the founding fathers had a working example of such a global megacorporation in their time and had already crossed paths with it.

Whch one of the founding fathers spent time in India again? Did they see what would be exo-colonialism in their time? Or are you arguing that they understood the future role of global corporations soley because they objected to a tax on tea? Either way, I don't think this argument seperates the water from the teabag. The Constitution had no allowance for Standard Oil, and it has no allowance for Bank of America, like the Air Force, this is beyond the fathers' purview.

"The Hippies"! "The Hippies"? Right, the hippies are the reason nuclear power is unsafe, nuclear waste is everywhere, and I wear my ass as a hat. Wait? You don't want "Crap like Fukushima" than by all means don't continue to support old technology in old buildings with fat government subsidies, but oh, that would make you a "hippie." Thank you "flower child" you've shown that progress may bring salvation, but is no guarantee of intelligence.
