But of course, the businesses should be punished heavily, but that does not mean that we should not make an effort to stop illegal immigration. We have a process to become a US citizen, if you don't like it don't and take a chance at breaking federal law don't cry to me when you get sent home. Of course with sanctuary cities that never happens here in CA...
Bingo. People that support illegal immigration just cant seem to grasp that they are supporting a system that exploits people that have no protection under the law. Also..dont give me that 'jobs you wont do' crap. I will happily pay more for fruit if the worker that picked it was making at least minimum wage and I know a ton of people without jobs that will take *anything* at this point.
Reps in our fine state tend to pass laws to look good for their constituents knowing that it wont stand up to the legal challenge...assuming a group or person will bring a lawsuit of course. This makes oh so much sense for a state without a dime to its name. Passing stupid and unconstitutional laws is cheap, getting them repealed is very expensive for both the state and its citizens. Watching the state senate at work via stream is about the most painful thing you can do, especially as you write your yearly tax check. Keep up the good work!
I HATED Unity but decided that I needed to use it for a week before I made up my mind. Long story short...I like it now. I am running it on two 24" displays and I am just as productive as I was with the Gnome 2 interface now that I know all the keyboard shortcuts. Its a harsh toke for sure to go from the 'classic' interface to Unity but I think that a lot of people are just not giving it a chance. As for the problems with Compiz and other bugs, I have not really had any issues. The only problem I have had is the proprietary Radeon driver is slow so I am not using it at the moment.
Not true. Even at 'gun shows' any firearm purchases *require* the same federal background check as if you purchased from a store. The 'gun show loophole' simply does not exist....you can not make an end run around state and federal laws by buying a firearm from a gun show.
The article could be summed up as: "Currently these guys are the only manufacturer, but others are getting setup now to start production and they will be on-line within 5 years."
So...for the next five years these guys are the only source. Whoop de do.
Now that I think about it, it should really read:
"Long time monopoly soon to be crushed by competitors."
We use OpenOffice on all of our workstations (kubuntu) and we have had a few employees whine about the fact that its not MS Office, however, they don't set policy. They have a job to do and if they don't want to use the tools we provide they are free to go work somewhere else. When presented with that choice they come around to our point of view. The interesting thing is all of these same people have learned to love the systems they were 'forced' to use...we get tons of comments like "Can you help me run Linux at home? It 'just works' all the time.". And yes..we do help them run it at home.
"Who's going to win? Whoever can stop playing pussyfoot and acknowledge the goal first, of course. My money is on the Chinese or Europeans."
I think the Americans have already acknowledged this point and are moving to do something about it...unlike Europe. It will be China or USA. I don't see any European country being a factor. That ship sailed 100 years ago.
Rubbish. You can make sublime coffee at home with good water, good fresh beans, and a good method of brewing. Its not rocket science, you just need to watch the details, like anything else you would make in the kitchen....
"No - The F22 has already fulfilled its mission nicely: made a lot of folk richer in the states where it was designed and built. THAT was the mission of the F22. Sort of like the mission of the ABMDS is to keep people employed in the states where senators required that pork."
Something wrong with keeping people employed? I would think you bleeding heart euro liberals would be all over the idea of giving people jobs just for the sake of having them work...that's pretty much how you guys roll.
"This is why the rest of the world hates America. Please stop attacking us for being "un american"."
Dont worry...your country will at some point in the next 15 years ask for our help. Hopefully many Americans will remember your hate at that point and we will decline.
Do you really thing that the USA would sit by and watch while the Euro's build a better fighter? Thats not going to happen. Think what you want of us but we build bad ass airplanes. The F-15 first entered service in 1970 so talk of a Eurofighter taking them down is laughable. At some point in the future Eurofighter's will cross F-22's....come back and post the outcome of that fight. It wont be pretty for the Eurofighters. And for the cost...who cares...the last time I checked we just printed money...
The main reason is 'kick'. The hybrids (I have a few 54mm hybrid motors) just dont offer the initial thrust that you can get from AP. NASA and the military use it for a reason;-)
I am actually a very early adopter of the Hypertek Hybrid system and I really like it, but if you want to keep the weight down and need lots of initial thrust the AP motors are the way to go. Of course...you could always use one of the AP/N20 hybrids that Aerotech was selling a few years back...those rocked.
I have been involved with high powered rocketry for well over 15 years and I can tell you that if they made it illegal tomorrow I would still know how to make a rocket travel over 10K' AGL at over 1300mph....making it illegal wont change anything...it will just keep a group of people from enjoying a hobby.
The 'agenda' I have is doing what is best for my client. A lot of the time that involves BSD or Linux....but not always. I dont care what OS a server is using as long as it gets the job done.
I would use it if is good software...who cares who makes it? If MS ever made anything that was 'great' and happened to run on Linux I think most people would consider using it . Of course, thats not anything we will ever see happen, but you never know.
...otherwise the swapping will just go on as it has and the labels wont get a dime.
I don't think the labels lose money from napster anyway. I defiantly purchase more CD's now that
I sample tons of music from MP3's.
Why would you *not* use the Be file system? It is
fast, reliable, and not prone to errors.
Would you use a inferior FS just 'cus the Be FS is *too* good?
I don't see the logic.

Forget about enough...with 4 Aerotech M's it will be lucky to keep its 'wings' on. I predict a shred.
It does not get much easier than editing the grub conf and removing the word 'splash' from the kernel you want to boot....

Worked pretty well against the Japanese...saved lots of euro, US, brit, and Japanese lives in the long run.
Retard.

"Two typical American Knee Jerk responses. "but but but the F-22 hasnt been up against the Raptor". Indeed."
Typical euro knee jerk response...getting the facts wrong.
The F-22 *is* the Raptor.

Who cares how many servers 'shipped' with a free OS. All I do anymore is *replace* NT with BSD or Linux.
Dont put the smack down on stickers. Its proven that 'sticker charging' Hondas really makes them faster.

Did you check freshmeat? I think I saw that distro over there......
