Nothing is "stopping" them, per se. It would just blow up a whole lot of physics knowledge. If the neutrinos did exceed light, a whole lot of reworking will need to be done.
Which is kind of the reason CERN released the info to the scientific community- so they (the community) could double/triple/etc check CERN's assumptions, setup, and results. And really, I don't care what Baden is chair of- him saying "It could be a weasel infestation" is fairly useless unless he comes up with an actual explanation. Anyone can say anything at this point. I blame evil snowmen with their neutrino catching mitts, but tracking the snowmen is very difficult. See how easy that was?
Same here, with Comcast (ugh). Pricey as all get out, but fast and a nice large cap (250GB). They even post your usage on your account page. Surprising how hard it is to use 250GB in a month (I tried once). A bit over 8GB a day, every day for a month
FCC: "Hi Mr. Witten, could we see your broadcast license please?" There probably is some unlicensed spectrum, like the ISM bands, but I don't know their capabilities.
Would be interesting if someone lived close to a distribution center and handed in their disc in person. Wonder if they could get someone to dig up their next disc right there and then.
See, your problem is that you are using too many 1s. The 0s are free, but the 1s add up real quick like. I can sell you my Zeroizer 20KT that will wipe out 65% of your 1s (works 70% of the time 100%!) and converts them to the free 0s! Only $19.95 + S&H, but act now and get a free BitScrubber Elite- guaranteed that all your bits are in tip-top freshness! Only pay a minor* S&H fee!
"...SLA promising you will get every last bit per second you are paying for, try pricing it sometime." Don't tell them that, the poor fellows' heads will explode.
Missing something there with adding micro- & picocells. You need to run a landline to them. That's gonna cost a pretty penny, and I don't see the cell providers dumping that much money to make life easier/cheaper for the users. At least not in the near future.
It seems in your grand quest to save hundredths off of a second, you have wasted more time resoldering, re-mapping (OK, not too much work), asking and replying to questions just on this thread alone. While I was looking around, I noticed this same question pop up on some other forums; in one case going back to '05 at SA. I connected the two as that post also mentioned rewiring a calculator. I can't even think of an analogy for this type of madness.
I saw this years ago. It took me forever to find it again. It mixes up Star Trek, Star Wars, Bab5, and Battlestar Galactica ships in various fights. The animations are about 4 years old, so they're not state-of-the-art graphics, but still fairly neat. Spacebattles.com. Look under the "Movies" link on the left menu.
All kinds of simplistic solutions posted here. "Tax the rich more." "Cut government spending." "Tax corporations more." "National sales tax."
You think there are not real economic experts that have done a few hundreds/thousands permutations of all these things? Yes, then the politics step in, but really there is no one easy fix-all.
Before you ask, no, I don't have a comprehensive solution since I don't even have an economics degree. I know just enough that 1 or 2 steps is not enough to provide a long-term solution.

Well, depends on how much beer gravity has been drinking that night.

I don't know, I'd be mighty intrigued to see an 18 meter bust.
On the serious side, I like that they said "Huh?" and opened it up to the whole scientific community.
You are also forgetting the other end of the connection; the ISP has to pay the long-haul guys, and they are definitely not cheap.

Nice!
I never did get a smartphone. Never saw this use.

Or you just had no case. Ever think of that?

No.

Flame away.
Keyboard --> Mouse --> Trackball --> Trackpad --> Having a monkey do stuff for you (?)
I use my tongue. Makes me feel tingly.
Uh huh. I'm sure the presentation was slanted at all. Go suck turf elsewhere.
Really need to get rid of Anon Cowards who don't know shit that can be found on Widipedia.

Moron.
I wouldn't go so far to say all AV is a scam. Just the stuff you need to pay for and keep up subscriptions for.
I find your lack of obedience to shit-colored appliances disturbing....
