Actually, the theme song snared Enterprise one viewer, my wife, because she liked the theme song so much.
The theme song wouldn't be appropriate for a darker show like Battlestar Galactica, obviously, but it fits the theme of Enterprise. I like the historical perspective involved too.
This question gets at what could be a fundamental difference in education policies enacted by the President.
Will President Bush or Kerry support home schooling by insuring equal access to educational resources, athletic opportunities or facilities, funding (ala school vouchers), or tax credits?
This question is not related to sex ed, that's true. I don't know why it got tagged that way.
Still, this is one of the few questions to probe at general education policies.
Nicely said. If we can get it cheaper elsewhere, we should. My $ then goes further allowing me to buy more , whether they be computers, pizzas, vacations, or earned interest.
Meanwhile, the $ that the Chinese programmer received allows him to do more in his country than he otherwise would have been able to do.
This added efficiency directly equates to more jobs, and more valuable jobs.
The $ isn't sucked out of the system to disappear forever. The gains get folded back into the system.
It's also almost irrelevant whether other countries have protectionist policies. Dropping our own protections improves the efficiency of our economy = growth!
