Ban all forms of Medical Insurance, even malpractice insurance. Insurance is the elephant in the room. Costs for medical care didn't begin to skyrocket until medical insurance began to cover all points of medical costs. That meant that there was a payer that would always pay no matter what the cost and when you have that much money to throw around, you have inflation. Amazing and unlimited inflation. If you take away the money, costs would be forced down because otherwise, they would lose all their costumers. Of course there will be a lot of waling and nashing of teeth from the Insurance companies if we did this.
I can relate to this issue. My co-workers often come to me to fix their email and various other apps that have been screwed up by an incompetent IT staff. I try, I really do try to get my coworkers to call IT if their is a problem, but sadly, they often don't trust them. I have been accused of all sorts of things by various IT employees and none of it true or even provable if it was. The truth is mine is the only computer they are _not_ regularly fixing (or screwing up) here in my office.

The internet is a strange and new concept in the world. I feel it has the potential to alter not only the music industry as it is and has been for the past century, but probably the concept of ownership, copyright and even sovereignty as well.
I can see that the music industry will fight tooth and nail around the world to suppress it, but I personally see the internet as a tide that cannot be stopped. It is way too late, and way too useful to be controlled effectively by any government or corporation. In the end, I don't think they have a chance in hell.
I think the Austrialians need to go after those guys who invented File Transfer Protocal, more files have been shared that way than any other peer to peer software ever written.:-P
I'll have one for the car, and maybe one for the boat, thank you.

I would have just saved the satellite and dared them to sue me and see how long that patent sticks up in court. It would have made a great test case.
Some hacker needs to write a virus that downloads kiddie porn on to politicians computers and has it flash up at random times. :-P

We so need them to set up a Mars Spirit Web Cam for this stuff.
