    That is what we are for. I have made a good living making computers play nice with each other.

    Computers are complicated, they are ment to be so and require experts.

    This whole, computes are easy to use, is a lie, driven by marketing and greed, and has led us to the insecure, virus ridden, barely functional place we are now.

    This is about viewership, ratings, and losses in advertising dollars. This will cause a flux in the base audience size and rates will have to drop
    due to that reduction.

    Now somewhere a deal has been struck.. ..

    If you think that this has to do with anything more you are living in a dream world.

    Just follow the money.

    That is Crap.. .. A man who will work for less then the current market rate is a fool and being take advantage of.

    If you sell your skill cheap you lower the market value of everyone.

    This should be clue #1 to an employer, This candidate is not very smart or is indentured.

    However, Most companies don't cares if they get the best skilled workers or the well being of those workers. It's just about the bottom line and they will take mediocre to save a buck almost without fail.

    Thecus are good. You can get one that does i-scsi or has a GigE router.

    Qnap is very solid.

    Synology if you like features.

    Roll your own, a box with Direct attached storage is hard to beat.

    I've built stable environments out of Windows and out of Linux, and they all serve their purpose with perfectly fine uptime.

    You contradicted yourself, and you got an insightful. Maybe you should be in politics.

    No really this is true for the most part, I have also witnessed UNIX admins who are worthless in Linux. I have no explanation for that.

    It just copies the suspect files to external media.

    Someone will still have to look at those files to see what they are.

    This is just a tool to save them from groking the files.

    The manner they use to find files on a system they already took in to evidence is not an issues
    so long as the systems media remains unchanged.

    The original evidence is preserved. Who can you challenge that?

    The 10th Amendment states: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

    This amendment was the basis of the doctrine of states' rights that became the rallying cry of the Southern states.

    I see it worked out well for them.

    One thing about a PAD zip case .. it is just abot the same size as a pistol case for a 32 or 308.

    I have never seen a gaurd stop a person holding a PDA case in their hand.

    Yep .. I second that ... Very Very few small installs know how to use Exchange. Most just use it for email and personal Cals. Another sad fact is that most end-users will attach files in email insted of using a/the file server to share files and things.

    Yes you can do this with a SAMBA PDC, OpenLdap and an IMAP server.

    You will find that most people are opposed to patent law(in the present state). I compare it to a loaded gun. Shooting someone, justly or other wise has the same end result. The moral issues are another matter.
