if you replaced redhat with slackware
I would be a very disapointed campter, I do not like redhat, or anything about it. I do however like slackware, and the only distribution of linux I would use besides one I make myself is Slackware. Your rant is irrelevant.
I got my ATi Rage 128 AGP card up and running by merly re-compiling the kernel with AGP support, and removing the #'s infront of "Load "GLX"" "Load "DRM"" in/etc/X11/Xf86Config
:)
I live in Ontario, Canada. A year ago I tried to rent Duke Nukem 3D for Nintendo 64, and They asked me for ID because the game was rated for "Mature Adults".
This game rating system has been in use widly in ontario, the funny part is the same state that allows possesion of child porn, and could be declared the Drug capitol of the country, won't let their kids play evil games?
"Sorry son, you can't rent this, could I interest you in some marajuana?"
I made a object class in PHP for console interaction on UNIX type systems, it could get/dev/stdin stdout, parse it and you could have input and output!
I was working on having it recoize the mouse, but I lost interest.
it was a fun project, some of it is still on www.phpbuilder.net
I'm sick of that "just because something can be done doesn't mean that it should be done"
Stop using it!
It's his life, it's his machine, and his code. I'm sure he gained valuable expirence by making this program-- and it SHOULD of been done
Well, my chipset on this card is not supported under gatos (Rage Enhanced Theater) so I'm jewed until I run into a program that *does* support this card.

What cards are supported by the GATOS xatitv program?
The GATOS xatitv program is intended to support ATI cards in the Rage, Rage Pro, and Rage 128 line. These cards use Brooktree/Conexant chipsets. xatitv
does not support Rage 128 Pro based cards, which use ATI's Rage Theatre chipset. Please note that this means that the 16 MB version of the ATI
All-in-Wonder 128 is supported in xatitv, but the ATI All-in-Wonder 128 32 MB card, which uses the Rage Theatre, is not supported in xatitv (see next
question).
honestly.
