This is the same government that can barely pass a budget, dissolve bypartisan bickering, handle voting rights laws, take care of veterans, fix corporate tax loopholes, and much much more....
Do you people honestly think they are capable of spying on you? Give up on trying to get your 15sec of fame and go back to society.
I'm appauled at how many people forget that their friends and neighbors are possibly government employees and they will sit here and trash it.
Of course it could be the alternative and foreign nation states are posting inciteful information here in retaliation for us protecting our interests, trying to subvert readers against the country that defends their freedom to eat cheetos at 3am while playing minecraft.
The world is coming to people bitching and moaning whenever any of their precious stability in life is taken away. Between the new Facebook, the new Flickr, and now iGoogle, I've seen so many people complaining for no other reason than that it's different. Call me naive, but I have faith in these companies that they made these changes for a reason, namely that they did tests and concluded it would improve the user experience, and that the bugs will be worked out in time.
I can understand that they've tested this product with a select group but as a company that survives souly by their name as a company to deliver should consider the thoughts for all possible opinions.
The problem is that they offered a product and changed the product without everyone who used the product knowing. They also changed the product without giving those who liked the original, a chance to revert.
It's one thing to say that "'people' are bitching and moaning whenever any of their precious stability in life is taken away" when in fact the overall majority wasn't given a chance to go back to what they enjoyed enough to bitch about.
I'm personally waiting for the gaming industry to openly embrace Linux. I'd switch in a heart beat if i knew i could go to a store and buy the games I want and install them on my Ubuntu distro. I just want my games, there fore i'm stuck with Windows:(
OWA works fine on firefox for me, never had a problem. Granted OWA doesn't look as "pretty" as it does on IE but that's all relative. I hate the look of the new outlook and OWA mimics that. Firefox works well if you take advantage of the tabbed browsing, as soon as you start launching firefox.exe after firefox.exe you start to get memory heavy like you do when you use internet explorer.
Firefox has saved me quite a few times from spyware and malware that would have been sucked right up into IE. Some things i do at my office for my job i cannot avoid it, i know its on the sites that i need to visit and i just have to tread carefully. I feel better knowing though that the malware's going to have a MUCH harder time messing with firefox than IE.
Everyone is screaming for an OS from microsoft that isn't so compounded with all the software that microsoft includes...They should take the final release version of Win95c and change the gui to mimic windows XP and then release that and all the support with it...If people don't want all the goodies of winXP then they should go back to 95/98

And I'm sure Russia will have absolutely no influence over what Snowden is working so hard to bring us too!
