    That's not really the point (slashdot disables the onmouseover attributes). The recet trend is to make hyperlinks to http://innocent-site/%20%20%20@goatse.cx, where the chain of %20's is so long that the address you see in the status bar is just http://innocdent-site/. The meaning of the URL is to log in as user http://innocent-site/(then a load of spaces) at the site goatse.cx.

    Yeah I should have been clearer. But SVG renderers combined with good DOM support should displace flash because SVG is entirely open.

    What on earth are you talking about? The web would work brilliantly if everyone followed strict HTML standards. Maybe what you mean is that the web wouldn't work at all if every User Agent tried to enforce strict HTML standards.
