    Work is not always rewarding. When the end result is a great product, however, it is rewarding. It is really important for managers to focus on this and build a team environment that gets results. There is nothing worse than getting handed a little piece of work and be detached from the larger process.

    I highly recommend the book "The Art of Innovation" which offers great ideas for kkeping workers engaged.

    to burn online demos onto. Not one was used for music. That is 1000 v. the 10 mix music cd's I made at home from my legally purchased music CD's.

    I bet CD's used for data distribution and storage push these numbers way up. Lies, damned lies.

    Yes, but when you win $0.14 cents from a class action suit (which I never signed on to) against your medical insurer for overpayments of premiums, and then your premium goes up a crapload, you begin to understand that it hurts consumers and the employees of many campanies.

    Win XP is not supposed to crash, but has a auto reboot feature that I see as no different than a crash. Yes more stable than Win 98,95 or ME, but not rock solid.

    The causes may be bad drivers etc, but the point of a solid OS is to keep humming and allow you to kill a process gone wrong in most cases.

    I have a 933 tower that surfs the web just fine and fast.

    Same experience on my wife's iBook 600mhz. Both are networked to cable Internet.

    Take a look at Jim Rogers' website. He offers a first hand look at the prospects of different countries around the world. Jim used to work with Soros on his hedge fund in the 70's. Some argue he was much of the brains behind its success. Anyhow his excellent site offers great perspective.

    You are quite right.. I use OS X and since it is somewhat immature, there are quite a few downloads. Nothing terribly large, but I have two computers to take care of at home.

    It really depends on the limits that get set. Is it gonna be 1GB or 5?

    The company that sets a limit, should be responsible for providing a utility for the user to track usage. Could be a problem for those of us that do not want to install shitty software provided by the cable co. on our systems. I use Comcast, and refuse to install the OS X version of their software, cause it sucks.

    Of course it depends on what the limit is set to.

    My web host is $9.95/month for an 8 GB transfer limit. Many others are around $19.95 per month for 4-5gb monthly limits.

    If they set it right, then it may be ok, but too low and it will impact the legitimate users they are claiming to protect.
