And since all "democratic" countries use exactly the same equipment to monitor their own citizens, you could say: Nokia-Siemens has brought a bit of democracy to Iran.

HUH?
There are plenty of visual apps to do this, no need for cli and whatnot....
Its cheap cause of the crisis plus the influenza. Also, the state where cabo is (Baja California Sur), is by far the one with least cases of H1N1 and (as you know) its hot and dry as hell in the summer. You WILL NOT get any kind of sickness. And even if you did, there is a great, shiny new amerimed clinic just there.
No its not, Mr Coward. For example, the Spanish Influenza should have been called USA Influenza because it started in the states but was discovered in Spain. Why fuck a particular country over what is now a worldwide pandemic?
Hell, lets call it the earthling influenza 1 just to be even MORE accurate!
Yes, I actually know that some companies with people at the helm with complex cognitive disabilities will actually trust the proprietary and buggy exchange protocol that will ONLY work sort-of well with, DUH, microsoft sanctioned devices over a tried and true open protocol like IMAP4.
That is, however, a sad problem for the company, which pays the cost of their mediocrity (sometimes, sadly, they prefer it that way), and for them personally: i dont see why the rest of the world should accommodate such a poor understanding of internet technologies.
" it seems like it may be easiest to just use Active Directory for everything. Are there any pitfalls with this approach? "
No no no.
Go do samba+ldap and THEN you have BOTH windows and a linux directory. You might hear something about "group policies" and other crap, thats treated in-depth in the samba howto: you CAN deploy policies with a smb pdc to winxp-2k boxes without too much problem (youll need a cheap version of win2k and ads with minal cals to get the admin gui for that, but in no way should you pay CALs for your linux boxes: that is plain stupid).

Perhaps. But now that its GPL, maybe IBM, RH and the rest of Java's stakeholders will get onto making openjdk better than oracle's. Ill sure contribute: this is a strategic need for the foss movement.
Ah, so we should judge humans and their viability by some sort of golden standard which you posess?
Nah, my friend: a kid is her parents property. They should do whatever they want to do with the particular set of stuff that happened to them.
Very few people, if you ask me, touched jail.
Lots of others, say, Father Bush, just swam through the whole thing untouched, when it was, and still is, pretty obvious this was his doing.

There ya go!

All that is necessary to get the ratings, will be done!
Its one of the many downsides of the mediocratic mindset so many, right and left, are so keen on.
