    if you do the email could be a mail package with a time bomb...

    remote exploits can be avoided with a firewall (winXP style) but local exploits can't be avoided unless the OS is fixed. Sure remote exploits are worse for servers, but local exploits are as much worse for desktops... mac is desktop, so I would be more worried by local exploits.

    maybe he is not the programmer or artist who actually created the game content.. but I think the game should be art for them.

    well... if you use linux + kde + kopete, you can use kggp.. its kind of an encription service for kde.. its a nice idea, but its a pain in the arss, since you have to login on linux and then login again to access your encripted stuff. In principle its nice to have your stuff encripted from the admin. But I hope they use, someday somehow, my account password instead of make me login 2 times in a row :-S

    well.. the point here is INSTALLING SP2!! not install security updates after installing it!
    I have a winXP SP1 install here that confirms what the parent post says, SP2 install fails.

    does anyone knows if this kind of donations are deductible from Bill's or MS's taxes?
    Its nice to see this kind of donations... but it won't mean much to me if this is just some kind of pay tax or donate to buy some good public opinion, or even goverment contracts strategy... I remember they also donated for aids research, africa suffers most from aids and malaria!?!?

    I hope this are just good sincere donations.. but again, Bill is the richest man in the world, so he knows how to move his money.
