Mine is definately not gathering dust since NBA Live 08 came out. My parents have a wii and my brother also has one alos. My uncle just bought one. I don't think the novelty is wearing off at all as everyone I know wants one that doesn't have one. People are starting to hunt for them for christmas because they know they are hard to come by. It's crazy that it's been a year and they are still not readily available.
My wife loved GTA3. She couldn't stop playing it, and she is not a gamer. Rent the game and have her play it and see how addicted she becomes. People need to realize that games and real life are separate worlds and that it's ok to enjoy something violent for entertainment value as long as it's fiction. --zemote--

There is already a growing community of these type's of Hiploggers over at http://www.hiptop.com/hiplog/ The nice thing about the Danger Hiptop is the querty keyboard, makes for a better mobile web experience. I also have the Victorinox bag. Got it 2 years ago as a christmas gift. The gel strams are extremely comfortable and it is guaranteed for life.
