How ironic that Google's "Don't be evil" only applies to Americans and not Chinese. They're going to fight our government's request information on terrorist activities but they roll over and show their belly to the communist Chinese "government."
In the end, it's all about money. They're no different from Microsoft.
I highly doubt President Bush would approve of such a tax. This is the left coast we're talking about here. The Democrats' solution to every problem is to tax more. Their model is Europe which has some of the highest taxes in the world.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Sen. John Kerry yesterday warned parents and grandparents here that it's "possible" that President Bush will reinstate the draft to handle the war in Iraq if re-elected, while promising that he would not take that step.
"If George Bush were to be re-elected -- given the way that he has gone about this war, and given the avoidance of responsibility in North Korea, Iran and other places -- it is possible," he said. "I can't tell you.
"I will tell you this: I will not reinstate the draft," the Massachusetts Democrat said in response to a question from a member of the audience of a town-hall meeting here.
You sound like a complete idiot. The finds are detailed in UNMOVIC's Quarterly Report released on August 24, 2004:

Then again, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, NPR, PBS, New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, etc. don't want you reading that report, so you should just go watch MTV instead.
They found all of Iraq's illegal weapons materials across the world in 35 different countries. Some parts ended up in France, some in Belgium. They were transported through Syria and sold on the black market. Illegal being the parts needed to create those missiles with a range far greater than the limits imposed by the UN, among other things.
As for the whereabouts to the really scary stuff, the toxins, anthrax, etc, Israeli intelligence claims they're in Lebanon, buried and guarded by Syrian troops. Syria was also just found to be testing chemical weapons on non-muslims in the Sudan, so maybe they're using some of their newly-acquired weapons from Saddam.
I've read that the Swift Vets have video of Kerry burning and American flag at a rally during his anti-war days after coming back from Vietnam. While it's burning he's urinating on it.
Others say that description is like a game of telephone. What they say the video shows is a group of people marching with Kerry at the rally start burning an American flag and Kerry is standing next to them and doesn't try to stop them at all.
Either way, it should be interesting to see what happens this month.
"Victims of the new bill would face 3 years in prison on first offense..."
What is wrong with you people? Those that do something illegal are violators of law, not "victims".
And those that are recording these movies are stealing more than just a $10 movie. In the grand scheme of things they're stealing millions of dollars from our nation's economy.
Now I'm not saying that I'm all for the movie industry. I rarely go to movies. But we need to be realistic and define what's right and what's wrong because our culture is taking a sour turn for the worst in a very short amount of time. We're losing control of our civil order and we need to maintain that order and quick.
J&R also matches the price from other retailers, so bring in some proof of a lower price when you go. I did that with a Dyson vacuum cleaner and saved $100!
If they won't budge on the price (very unlikely) you can haggle with them for accessories for your laptop.
Actually, in NY, you can haggle with just about anyone for anything, except at chains like Best Buy and Circuit City.
I don't use my XP machines for services, so none of them ever have uptime more than 24 hours at a time, but it's rare I'll need to reboot an XP machine.
i don't use my linux box for "services" either but my linux box currently has an uptime of 74 days, 5 hours, 44 minutes.
so why are you having to reboot your XP machines? because you changed a setting, installed a program, or had a crash, that's why.
why would i want this new sony thing when for the same price, my casio em-500 has full audio, full video playback, multitasking, mmc and sd expansion, and a much better screen?
i can even play doom and quake on my em-500. much better than Giraffe, that's for sure!:-)
