just because some people can't learn to use, configure, and manage Windows, doesn't mean its the OS's fault. If your holy grail of Linux was so damed perfect, why do I see so many patches and fixes for it?
Any OS is only as secure and compitant as the USER that manages it, so put the blame where it belongs, in yourself!
I rarely post anything, and normaly just read and either get a chuckle or pissed off. This was a reasonable write, well worth the read, and effort to respond to. I wonder if the main body of people that whine and groan over M$ stunts,are part of that generation that wants it all for free and is to lazy to earn something, (no, not teenagers alone do this). How many of the whiners have spent their own money on developing something to make a profit on it? Did they or would they even phathom the concept of giving away the BLUEPRINTS AND SPECS of any product for all to see, and would cost them PROFITS. Lets file charges against any company that won't release the complete plans for their money-tree product. No production company would be able to exsist.
Charge Microsoft with the proper crimes and breach of duties to the public and then let your voice be heard by your congress rep, that if they allow MS to get away with the crimes, they lose your vote and will speak out to warn others not to vote for them for these reasons. Vote loss scares them, they can't be lobbied (bribed) if they don't have an office.
that arrow didnt build itself,the bow didn't either, yet the focus wasn't on WHO shot him, rather they focused on what he was shot with, sounds sadly like the polititions deciding by what guns ppl got shot with, as to what guns to ban, (polititions need our pity, not our support, fire yours the next time you vote)
...if ppl would take the time to read the whole story they would see it was NOT microsofts fault, it was the modified software the russians used. geeeeee if i modified some linux software and didnt do it correctly i could claim linux was full of bugs, and post to a ms forum about how buggy it is, wouldn't be true, but neither are the post blaming ms for the problems...
PS, are the errata pages for the linux community just there for giggles or could it be it has bugs that need fixed, same as microsoft OS's?
