There are several fields of mathematics that apply to CS. Some of these include graph theory, cryptography, linear programming, and vector-based geometry.
I double majored in both Computer Science and Combinatorics and Optimizations (a sub set of the fields described above). I found that a lot of the material was applicable to both majors.
Actually, by crptographic standards, it is not more secure.
Remeber our mantra: security through obscurity is no security at all.
The strength of the SSH channel is defined by the symetric key size which, in the case of 3DES, is 168 bits. Concenptually by using port knocking, all you are really doing is adding and additional key to the SSH key. This key is relatively small, and extremely easy to decrypt, all you need is a packet sniffer. So now you're throwing a crappy key, in front of the strong 3DES key. If it takes you 3 months to crack the 3DES key, and 3 seconds to sniff out the knock sequence, then all you are doing is adding 3 seconds to a 3 month hack. That's not really an improvement at all.
Ok, not really, but I still have my Zoltron monitor from my first 286, which I got around '90ish. It theoretically supports up to 1024x768, however, ever since I lost my trident video card, it's only been able to run 640x480 properly. This puppy is currently is use on my Debian server.
The last time the people of China "[grew] some balls" was at Tiananmen square. That sure worked out well for them. I think some people forget that not all of us live in a somewhat "free" society.
I think it's very ignorant to think that the people of China deserve a government that abuses their human rights. I think that it is even more ignorant to think that the people of China do not have any "balls" because they do not try to stand up for themselves more often.
When you stand up for your rights in China, you are eliminated, plain and simple.
It's one thing to say that if you were in their situation you'd stand up for your own rights; it's another to actually do it when you are there.

Air filtration
Rotates to avoid glare
Custom overhead lighting.
Really freaking expensive.
Everything you'd need.
You can always do what I did. Rather than quiting, I just stopped doing anything. After 3 months I was laid off, w/ severance.
Make the company make you quit.
Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
It's about time someone got the freakin point.

What do you mean he got arrested? But I was about to make 20 mil, for doing nothing!

Actually, star wars was re-released on April 10, 1981. It was this re-release that first showed the "Episode IV" sub-title.
So, how long before a tijuana plant is made?

Go Zoltron!
You see, this is why I hate people.
-- I used to think it was fun being smarter than the majority of the population. Now they just piss me off.
> Of course, a little rabbit never hurt anybody. It's the really huge rabbits we have to worry about.
What about the rabbit with big narly teeth that almost killed all of Sir Arthurs knights?
I have no spine. I own both copied of FotR, and I'll end up own both copies of TTT, and eventually RotK.
Life's too short to wait for Super UBer Box Sets.
I'm a geek.
As a geek, it's my job to make fun of nerds.
Nerd alert !!!! Nerd alert !!!! Nerd alert !!!!
Yo buddy, did you get a load of that nerd !!!!
I think he meant that keeping the source closed was security through obscurity, not the fact that they are diversifying.
That is a very naive comment.
