It doesn't support iframes and (as the article clearly states) iframes are a big part of how this application works.

ps. noted bias: I wrote the article and it links to the Freevo HOWTO that I also wrote.

I have the Sony Ericsson T68i that does pretty much what you are talking about. With my iBook I can use it as a wireless modem. If you got a Sony Clie with a BT adapter I would assume you could send/recieve data through that. The CommuniCam is a 1 megapixel camera attachment that you could send photos with, but it doesn't have a flash :(

  4. PDA == PAC (Personal Alarm Clock) on Do People Really Use Their PDAs? · · Score: 2

The automatic alarm feature on the PalmOS is incredible. I have some issues with UI, but overall I've loved using my Samsung I300. However, I just bought a Sony Ericsson T68i with Bluetooth, IR port, Calendar, and a camera. IMO, the PDA/Cell Phone convergence is most important. I HATE carrying around 2 separate devices when one will do. BTW, email me at if you are interested in purchasing my I300 :) --Joe

It has one of the most impressive pagers there is. You can flame about slowness, but the reality is if you have a decent amount of RAM, CPU, and Video Card it should run fine (ie. 256/800MHz/16MB).

  8. Installation Procedure on Ask AtheOS Creator Kurt Skauen About His Creature · · Score: 1

Being of a strong *nix background I didn't have many troubles getting AtheOS installed. But, the fact that the install process is done entirely from a bash prompt it would be quite cumbersome for the average newbie (or even intermidiate *nix geek). Are there any plans to make a more user friendly installation?
