Once you've bought a CD, send it to Snapster - this would then be added to the repository (or the number of copies would be incremented). This proves that you've bought a real copy of the CD.
You could keep the case (The best bit of a CD! - I like keeping them around as eye candy).
I know this isn't news per se but what a great post. I'm a real advocate of OSS but have always found it quite difficult to find _the_ oss tool that does what it says on the tin without downloading 10 others that just don't - this post has highlighted tons of high quality, useful OSS software, it's also kept my broadband connection busy for the last hour:o)
Working with SGI on a video streaming app, we got a good four pages of C with just one comment at the bottom:
