Ive had the argument with my college friends, majoring in government, about corporations and thier pull in goverment via lobbying. After a bit, most of them simply say the goernment is for the corporations. When I ask them what about the ppl they just shrug. Because the free software movement and other computer user groups dont have the money to lobby does that mean all is lost?

Well we are close to finding the true name of GOD according to the Hebrews and ALso there should be a predictability algoith for the stock market as well correct. They need to make another TT movie TT sqared: Tracing the origins of the Red Code virus back to TT.
I went to college with a heavy C++ background and flew threw the first 2 cs c++ classes, however i ground to a screeching halt when after i tooka class in OOP we had to take a class in Java on Adv Data structures and Algorithms. I couldnt deal with it the languages are very similiar in some degrees and it lead me to hours of debugging to find out there are slight grammer differences in the languages. This issue was never addressed by the prof and has had me shy away from java. I dont think mixing two such similiar languages together is such a good idea. C and and pascal and basic were structurly very similiar in programming and structure flow but gramatically very different.
there are some rules we would want to stick to at minimum
1. Software can not harm a user or through any inaction allow a user to come to harm
2. Software must obey orders give by said user unless it would conflict with first law
3. Software must preserve itself and OS unless conflicting with first or second law Adapted from the Genius A.Asimov
It seems to me alot of this has to do with social economic backgrounds. There have been very few if any shootings ing the south were there is the greatest access to guns, why maybe becuase the kids are taught how to use a gun and what it is for. And it also seem that not all the time but a mojority of of the schools where the shootings take place are upper middle class/upper class. I have noticed though my times of being in public school and having friends in private schools (Not bringing the public vs private debate up just that private school have richer kids inrolled) that the more wealthy kids tend to have a slightly skewed view of consiquences(publik school remember) For an extreme point look at OJ. If the kids believe there is a slight chance they can get away with something they will try. The superman complex is strong with these kids.
I dont mean to sound like a broken reocrd but parents have alot to do with this take a college psyc class and you will understand. Bullies are in essence the cause, but I like many of fantasized of kicking thier asses or in extreme killing them but we all had the good sense to keep the ideas in our heads.
So what if MS gets broken up and a new sw company from japan grows and takes over the industry. You think Gates is a tyrant think of what someone could do when they dont have to listen to the US government.
