.. the launch codes! And the launch computer should run windows 95 and have a permanent, non-firewalled internet connection. You do that, and I'll open-source my very own doomsday worm (development is still in an early phase, the release is expexted around april 1, 2005:)).
That's why I use large, fire-spitting dragons for delivering my packets. The weird thing is, everyone I want to connect to turns out to be dead (a lot of houses burn down lately..).
The spent fuel will burn up in the atmosphere, disintegrating into small particles. It will spread out and deliver a dose probably less than what you get in a doctor's office from an X-ray machine.
If that is true, why did the USSR made all that effort to send the reactors in that disposal orbit in the first place? They could have saved a lot of money by just tossing it in the atmosphere in the first place!
It's more likely to be the power, ie UxI. And although the amps kill ya, it's the sparks that catch ya. And the length of the spark is related to the voltage. So high voltage, high power is recommended for making your spammer quiet... and crispy.
I have only used AREXX, but it was really cool. Nearly all applications had a REXX interface, so you could easilly write macro's that affected multiple applications. Just installed rexx on my debian system (package regina-rexx), going to revive some old memories:).
I told it to my father when I learned about it, and he now has a folder icon on his desktop that connects to the server at work. It works like a charm, he has access to all the documents he needs, as if it were local, and without the need for a vpn!
the IO slaves? I don't know gnome well, so they could have it as well.
BTW, you should know this little trick: you can browse through folders on any computer with a ssh login. Just type fish://your-login@computer-with-ssh-access.domain in konqueror (or in the run dialog), it will show your remote home directory as if it were a local directory. There are lots of other io slaves, too (see all available protocols using K->system->info center->protocols).
But thanks, I'll just stick to the cheap mass-produced hardware (except the monitor, that's the only computer part worth spending money on imo). Maybe I'm just a functional type..
I just bought SuSE 9.0! Is there some way to upgrade without shelling out another eighty bucks for a box set?
That's exactly the reason why I switched away from Suse. It is a very good distro, don't get me wrong, but when you become an experienced linux user, the non-commercial distributions are much more attractive because you never use tech support anyway, and it gets expensive.
Indeed, like WP: if there would be a decent WP version for Linux, I know some offices that could do fine without Microsoft at all! They went for it, but somehow they were stopped by someone.. let me think, who was it again..
Anyway, the release they made was ok if you look at it as a prototype, but if they could have improved the UI.. could have been a success!
Nobody 'owns' gnu/linux, it's just source code residing on servers, cd's and other media, protected by the GPL, and growing in a darwinistic way. Ok, some distro's could add adware when they bundle the software, but I've changed distro's for less.. And do you really think a kernel patch that will change every image it receives into an add stands any chance to be incorporated? Even if it can be loaded as a module?
He can use it if he has to present his paper. It seems like a good way to make your point.. And if he doesn't have to present it he can still print the individual frames to make a few extra pages..

That's why you should use RAIP (redundant array of inexpensive pigeons)!
I bet it involved some sort of a receiver..

"Reuters UK reports that HP, the No. 1 personal computer and computer printer maker, ..."
Stop that indoctrination! It doesn't work on me! That sort of stuff is REALLY starting to annoy me..

naah, he died last month..
Obviously, since gnome is a GNU/linux cornerstone, it must be coming from sco. Go get'em, feds!
(logic used: same as in "sco.com was attacked by a worm -> it must have been a linux fan")
.. for debian woody fans!

Does anyone know the dimensions of the thing? it looks a bit thick.. or is it my imagination?

Who cares about Joe? He's history! This new guy is even MORE average:
..and put the first CD into the disk drive...
He had to cut of some edges to make it fit into the small opening, but in the end he managed it..
I think they plan to sue duke nukem for infringing on their vaporware patents..
Search your feelings, you know it to be true.
I don't feel anything..

Sorry, I meant for future missions. Maybe the next rover will have a mini-rover driving over the solar panels of his host..
You could use a magnet to wipe off the dust, since most dust on mars is magnetic. Here is the article, look at the last 3 paragraphs.
The problems include:
No hand brake.
No headlights.
Horn is not working.

Lower your firewall and surrender your data.
Ok, I placed my firewall on the ground.. but nothing has happened !?
Nice hack!
