EXACTLY... This is the kind of thing Orwell warned us about bask in the 40's. Why do people let themselves be controlled through fear. RFID may have some legitimate uses in industry, but should never be used ON people.
WHatever happened to the good ole days and the fun and exciting world of off-set Litho or even a silkscreen?
Sure not everyone has the facilities, but you can carry off a more "heist" for less than the cost of the average high quality printer...
Not to mention the extra snazzy-ness of custom ink, knowledge of paper with cloth content, and OIL based perm. inks which won't run through your fingers while trying to pass the stuff off...
Printmaking..It's an art!
I just took a look at the Atollo and they remind me of Zaks...except with Zaks there were 2 or 3 diffi pieces...Square and triangle pieces, they just snapped together...
looks like the same basic idea, could the Atollo be a new evolved type of Zaks?
Yeah this is what is suppose to happen, however it seems somewhat hypocritical to me...
letting some big corporation off, while trying to eliminate liittle independant companys (napster or the poor sapp who who is getting ass raped because he created some source code to decode DVD...just a couple exampes...) piss them off...
They created the source code and they hold controls of the servers..;.The only diffi I see is that they have obtained the power to side-step this little landmine...
I agree they should not be help responsible, however there should be equal delegation of the law...

Aren't tese little guys basically the same thing as normal EAS tags?
They aren't microscopic; they aren't hidden in your undie-bands...They transmit a signal containing the same information as a barcode...
Wow they respond to a receiver from a few inches away -- how frightning!
