    You could bolt down the CD's too! Use that convenient center hole and a fender washer[1].

    [1] A big washer with a small hole, used to attach car fenders.

    Your post has reminded me that my registrar has my usa.net mail address that will be going away.(Fast, free and permanant, yeah. At least they used to get 2/3). The irony is, I got the domain partially because they started to charge for POP access.

    MS should have sued Digital Research over DR-DOS, since MS called it MS-DOS

    Actually, Caldera sued Microsoft over Microsoft's FUD-mongering against DR-DOS (Typical article)
    DOS = Disk Operating System, not a particularly strong mark and I think it was already a generic term by the time "MS-DOS" came out.

    Try one of these to change 12V into 5v instead of the free-built-in-coffee-warmer 7805. They generally do not need a heat sink. It'll set you back $20, though. They also have higher current units, but they aren't drop-ins (space permitting) for the 7805. You can buy them at Digi-Key.
