The fuel I think they were talking about is called Hydrazine and is used to power certain in orbit aspects of the Shuttle. Click here for more info but the raw components of hydrazine include caustic, ammonia, and chlorine so I think it's safe to say it's really bad stuff and they weren't just trying to scare people off.

It's nice but they're more than a year late, I did work experience at Orange in June '99 and they were pushing this as their welcome to the new millenium, to be sold from December '99.
I didn't say it was the only key to a secure system, however the ability to log on remotely does allow a cracker to to more damage to a system that a single user system. And what the hell does your point about MacOS mean in relation to my comment?
Windows 2000 isn't a multi-user environment (in normal cases) this is why it is harder to crack. If you have a single user linux/unix it would be just as hard if not harder than Windows to break into.
The air flow on AT cases can vary greatly, for example my case has great air flow running my PIII 500 at 30 degrees C at 100% CPU. My friend's Celeron 466 ATX runs at nearly 50 degrees C at 100% CPU.
I can believe this, I'll have to stop growing my beard immediately, btw I wonder if this is just specific to us Northern Irish drinkers or does it affect the worlds drinkers? If so that's a lot og the black stuff going to waste.
Just something that should be pointed out is that NASA aren't using a hard disk but a solid state system to replace the existing tape system. I assume this is because outer space is too harsh an environment for hard disk technology.
The reason for NASA and other agencies using the Intel designed chips is that Intel is giving them the designs of the chips to modify to the required specs royalty free.
I can't agree with you on that I think Windows 2000 is memory hog which doesn't merit the upgrade from NT if you are using it as a desktop OS. It may be worthwhile for servers but as we are talking about web browsing I don't feel it's worth considering.

Don't suppose this computer happens to have an internet ip. We could all take turns with DoS attacks on it.
hmmm.... where did I put TFN2K...
> 16MHz 68EZ328 DragonBall Microprocessor
;-)
Way cool, thought I though dragon ball's were bigger than that... and 16 MHz does sound a little slow

Just for interests sake, one of the main features of the next version of Internet Explorer is it's (allegedly) vastly improved ftp support.
It's a joke mate!
Next Linux for Gameboy!!!

The Sandia National Laboratory is currently preparing the Pentium for use in high radiation environments such as space, for more information check out the following sites
