If you want a.us domain in one of the zones I control, you're welcome to it. For free. Like most.us domain administrators I know. Whatever is the reason that.us isn't widely used, you haven't hit on it yet. Keep guessing -- maybe you'll graduate to intelligent moron.

You silly fool. Most people don't vote because one vote doesn't make a difference. Well, this vote-aggregation scheme is a way to create a vote that *matters*. And the value of that vote is transferred to the voter, by virtue of its being auctioned off.
Instead, you would have people waste the value of their vote, by not voting.
-russ
I'm surprised that floating a vote-buying scheme isn't considered protected political commentary under the first amendment.

Sure. Look at your tax return. Now imagine that you could spend that money to support single mothers. They'd get a lot more than they do under a system of welfare, between you and everybody else that would like to help single mothers.

No, no, no, Libertarians are for the freedom of not being forced to pay for *other* people's abortions. If you want one, you have to pay for it in a libertarian state; you will not be permitted to coerce tax dollars out of pro-life people for your abortion. Sorry, I guess I was unclear on who was paying and who was getting.

Libertarians favor freeom of everything:
The freedom to move between countries.
The freedom to do what you want with your own body.
The freedom to have an abortion.
The freedom to not have to pay for abortions.
The freedom to spend what are currently taxed dollars the way you want (e.g. to support pregnant women so they won't have to have abortions).
Libertarians cut across the left/right spectrum with solutions that appeal to everyone.
Right now, the only way to reflash is to run CELoader under (you guessed it) Windows CE (well, okay, Pocket Windows, but you get the idea). You don't need to run any other Windows software -- you can get CELoader onto your iPAQ using PPP to a Linux box.

p.s. I used to be waiting for a Yopy also, for the same reason. With every passing month, they back the Yopy delivery date off by two months. I handed over yopy.org to someone who cared, and bought myself an iPAQ. Didn't bother me a bit to use Windows to help destroy itself.:)
That's the same reasoning that failed to see why Vietnam would be hard for the US to conquer. Never underestimate dedicated rebels who are having fun.

Digital Semiconductor was making the StrongArm processor. Compaq sold off Digital Semiconductor to Intel. Yes, this means that Intel is making both the Tulip DC21x4x and Intel 8255[789] Ethernet controllers, and the SA-110 and x86 processors. Compaq kept the Alpha processor, though.

Did you form a government? Or was it formed for you? Did you have a choice about the form of the government? No, you didn't. Pure libertarianism is just giving you the choice of the form of government you want. If you want to live in a socialist sub-state of a libertarian state, get a bunch of your buddies together, buy some land, and go for it. Libertarians have *no* problem with this.

Sorry, I made a mistake. There's an errant strcpy() prototype that needs to be deleted. You'll know it when you see the compilation barf on it. Also, edit ScribbleP.h and change the path to the classifier files. And it installs a library, so you have to make install it before you can do anything.

I'm 27K feet from the CO as well. I've got a frame relay connection that costs me $400/month plus what my ISP would charge if I didn't work for them.:) They're using a pairgain 384Kbps DSL with a repeater part-way. I used to have a 2Mbps wireless connection to Clarkson University which worked fine, but they shut that down.:( I got T-1 speeds out of that. If I didn't have the frame relay, I'd start my own wireless ISP, to serve myself and share the cost with others.

These are not uncommon. I've had several of my qmail training customers tell me that their employer has required these. It's a consequence of employee mobility. If the employer is going to make an investment in the employee, they want a return on the investment.

English is the default language of the business world.

Sorry, that's the wrong iPAQ. Compaq has two products named the iPAQ (doh!): a legacy-free x86 desktop, and the PDA.
-russ
You can't. Compaq only has to pay a few bucks to Microsoft for each iPAQ, and it would be too expensive for them to mark you as not using Windows.
There will be a Linux iPAQ on shelves eventually. It's just too soon. Go ahead and buy an iPAQ -- the screen is unbelievably good.
