In Smallville Lex Luthor uses a Titanium PowerBook. While he is not yet a criminal master mind in this show, I would not characterise him as a good guy.

While it is not a robust and does not come with all the bells and whistles, you may want to consider using OSXvnc. It's free, provides basic desktop access via a VNC client or Web Browers, and did I mention it's free.

    Check it out; http://www.osxvnc.com/

  3. Monitoring Availabilty of Connection a Violation. on VPN Clients Not Allowed On Residential Service · · Score: 1

I was very paranoid about the Encrypted packet clause the entire time I had my cable service, since I had multiple reverse SSH tunnels comming in to my home network. What was funny is that I never got in any trouble for that. Rather, when I went to cancel my service I gave the reason as being only 72% uptime over a six month period. (Monitored by BigBrother) I was then told that it was a violation of the TOS to montitor the service in such a way. I laughed and said fine shut me off. I have yet to figure out what verbage in the TOS covers this, but really don't care anymore since I'm cooking on DSL.

  6. Dell Inspiron 3700 on Review of the Sony Vaio PCG-X9 · · Score: 1

I just recently got a cool blue Dell Inspiron 3700 PIII 450mhz 256MB RAM, 12Gig Hard Drive, DVD-ROM Drive. It has turned out to be a great system for games. I play Mechwarrior 3, Quake 3, and Starfleet Command on it all the time. I also purchased a USB Dual-Strike Joy stick (Microsoft can't make a decent OS, but they have some pretty good joysticks), this stick makes playing quake a total blast. I can also use the s-video out jack and play quake through the TV, or a DVD for that matter. It's quite a steal at $3200.00
